Wifie sent me to the store yesterday and while I was out, I sneeked into the local gun shop.....

I checked out all the handguns and some of the long guns.... Pretty, Pretty, Pretty.

I don't get into the gun shop but about once in a quarter then it for only 1/2 hour or so..

   I think I looked at a Taurus .380 revolver.

I say I think I did because when I went to their website this morning, I couldn't find it.

Has anyone ever seen or heard of one of these?

It sure was small and cute. I am thinking of getting it just because I can't have a pair of NAA .32 acp minis.

there are a few threads on it on the taurus forum.

as with everything else taurus, mixed reviews.

They must not be too good.

Taurus don't list them on their website....

How are your tired old fingers at snapping 380 rounds into sprig clips and after firing them, snapping those empty sharp edged cases back out of the spring clips Lee???

Doesn't exactly look like a MINI revolver... Doesn't seem terribly small.

heyjoe

its the same size basically as a smith and wesson I frame but with a bigger grip.

Hey Louie,

   Heck, I wouldn't shoot it.

It would be like one my NAA minis.

I would just fondle it till all the blue was rubbed off. That is why I like stainless so much.

I like cute little things and to me it looked little.

In my hand it was little.

   So it was little.

I saw where my local Bass Pro Shop has them in stock and on sale in August. With my experience with Taurus I am not interested. Jim

15.5 ounces, not exactly light weight for a .380

Uncle_Lee

I guess that wearing a 15 pound electricians pouch full of tools around my waist for 45 years makes me not notice a few ounces.

Me too.  Only it was a 12 pound gunbelt.

15.5 oz is light for a revolver and 3 ounces LESS than a NAA Guardian 380.

Of course, it is ALSO about 3 ounces HEAVIER than a Ruger LCR in 38 special.

You have to wonder, in the Bass Pro ad, they call it a "semi auto revolver" ...........

lauraslookout

of course I am retarded ... I always thought a "double " action revolver should have been called a "single" action because one movement will fire it while a "single " action revolver requires 2 movements to fire it. Jim
