My best to a police officer's police officer.  She more than earned her badge that day.   I was a homicide investigator for a short time, it's not like the movies.  Have never really got over my first case of a lady that was knifed and then raped 35 years ago and I will leave it at that.  Seemingly, your wife was able to continue her chosen profession and that speaks volumes.
