I have a shorty.  A smokeless Colibri lr almost fits.  Would it be safe to trim off enough of the bullet so it to fit when fired"

Better hang on maybe close your eyes and turn your head get ready for the fire blast blow by , oh maybe wear gloves . Dumb idea kinda .
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

Warthog

You can buy Short CB's which are really close to the powderless Colibri rounds.  I wouldn't make a round that shouldn't fit a gun into one that will.  But that is me. ;)

There are some that have loaded a shorty with Long Rifles (regular cartridges) and trimmed them off at the end of the cylinder and shot them with no obvious ill effects.
So I don't think the low powered ammo would hurt anything.
