New To Me NAA -- 4" Mini Master

To be honest, I really didn't plan on getting another NAA Mini, in fact I've been thinking about selling off my neat little Ranger II  22 Mag -- only because I enjoy shooting my Webley, Schofield and H&R top-breaks more...

But.................

I stumbled upon this nice l'il -- OK, not so little -- 4" Mini Master 22LR in a LGS and it spoke to me. After examining it really close, I couldn't find any marks or anything on it, or anything wrong with it, and it handles really well. It came with the box and all the original papers too. The trigger is very crisp and breaks right at 4#; and while it is light weight, I'm thinking this just might be capable of picking off a partridge or squirrel at up to 30 paces when I'm out deer hunting in the Maine woods.

I used to carry a 22 revolver as a sidearm while hunting, but due to some issues with "2 legged predators", now I carry a 4" S&W 32 Magnum, which does quite a job on the small game. This Mini Master could easily be carried in a small bandolero-style shoulder holster, that I'll make up from a leather one that I've ordered.

Haven't shot it yet, but I'll get it over to the range some time this week. I hope it shoots as good as it looks and handles!

Here's a picture of it, along with my (maybe "yours" soon?) Ranger II.  ;)

Thanks for sharing. The one time I sold one of my minis I regretted it (other guns not so much) maybe give it some more thought before ditching the RII  ;)

Biff

I just gave my 4" Earl to my younger brother for Xmas. Already regretting braking up the set with the 4" BP Earl.  I will definitely have to buy another.   The 4" guns shoot nice; I wonder how the hog leg shoots?

Here is the BP Earl.

Hey Biff,
That holster is nice also.
