Hmm.....Well, what comes to my mind is Mr. Ranger Sir of Yogi Bear fame. So it doesn't really bother me. Maybe we can find out how they came up with that name.

I guess I will always be looking for Tonto.  I would love the renaming if now the serial number followed The Earl and became  TR000000 for The Ranger.  That would really make our early bird guns unique.  You guys with a black widow; does your serial number start with a BW?

O well, I think my Ranger serial number fantasy may be just that.  Can't you guy's convince the factory to make the production Ranger's TR00000's as a reward for the early birds, I am sure that would make Zippo forget about not getting BT00002 in a hurry. Zippo what have you done to me I never even thought about serial numbers till I meet you in this forum.
