Will there be a 4" Ranger II in the near future?

First, Welcome!

Define "near". It has taken a year or better to get the announcement of a 2 1/2" Ranger. Of course, there were other issues in the back ground. If my guess is correct and they are smoothed out, it may not be as long for the 4". That is if they build a 4" barrel. I don't remember if that was mentioned as a possibility, but I think it was.

Welcome Watchman!

That is another one I would like to see...a 4" barrel on a Ranger II.  Like Grayelky says, and as a dealer in firearms at eh retail level he should know, the 2.5"bb Ranger II should be out before a 4" and we really don't know when that twill happen either.

Hey . . Watchman . . WELCOME to the Forum!  Don't be a lurker now; reload and step back up to the firing line.  We need your opinions, range reports, and, oh course, pictures!!

I have a Sidewinder 4" as my snake gun. I think I would prefer the Ranger II as ejection would be easier. I want the 4" assuming the bead sight. Trying to attach a picture of my NAA but challenged on that......

Welcome Watchman, I'm guessing the sights will be the same on the 4" R II based on other models like the Earl which share sights with all the different barrel lengths.

Attaching pictures will be much easier once you pass the 15 post probation level.  I tried to post pictures early on, and they weren't approved with the post, and some never made it at all.  Hang in there.

There is a nice article on pages 58-59 of the May/June 2019 issue of American Handgunner.  " NAA's .22 Magnum Back-Up Moxy RANGER II".

Uncle Pepper

Picked this one up today.

Good looking pair Uncle Pepper.  Some stag grips will really dress the new one up.  Way to go!

Nicely done Uncle Pepper! Range report when you get a chance to get out please. Love the balanced look of the 2.5" on there.

That is absolutely beautiful, Uncle Pepper!  Good luck with it!  🤓

So, on another note ...   are we all now comfortable that the original Ranger II problems are no longer a concern?  The reason I ask is ... I have a pair of EBs that continue to have problems, and I really want to order another pair with custom serial numbers.  Should I wait, or is everything good now with production?
So, making guns illegal will take them off the street?
Perfect!  We should probably make heroine and meth illegal, too!
