Yes, it's only a 1911 Holster but, there is a little something extra!

When typing the subject line, the first one was... 1911 leather Holster Boring!

After finishing this one and taking photos, since it has a little extra "flair" I thought I would post it.

You all know I prefer doing NAA Holsters but..... we are located in 1911 country! They are about 25% of our business.

Thoughts, critique, constructive criticism are always appreciated.  I really do learn from others observations!

Thanks for looking!

(This also gives Uncle_Lee another cup of coffee and computer time!)

The two-tone is a nice retro look, like many of the Fifties cars. Looks very classy!

That's some beautiful leather tooling Rick , like Unc said "eye candy" classification . Use to love tooling leather till the eyes started to go along with time , still have the stamps though maybe a grand kid will take interest .

I saw it early but I'll be back in the morning with coffee.
Can't wait.

Prity!

Did the sweat guard get mauled by something? I know 1911's are prone to having buggered up grip screws and that can really tear up a holster.

Nope, no mauling took place on the holster.  The impressions are from the Dummy Gun while wet molding it to fit.

Someone is going to be happy!  Wow!
This is for one of our "regulars" and has quite a few 1911's so he wanted one to "stand out" for his new Sig Scorpion. He is always happy with our 1911 Holsters! lol!  ;D

Get the grand kids going on it OV! They can build you some gear! There are lots of beginning "how to" books.  Let me know if you need any info for them.

Just when I think the limit has been set up comes another bar to set a higher limit.
Beautiful, just outstandingly beautiful. The different colors and shape just makes my eyes water. Not in pain either.

Uncle_Lee,  Thank you so much for the kind words!  :)  That makes my day!

Now I need to come up with something else post!

When I'm doing this "custom, on-off" gear I can hardly wait to post it to show you!

I wish you were in Phoenix, I'd brew you up a pot of great coffee and plop you next to John and I while we work!

I do a lot better in person.
It don't hurt to talk but it does to type.
Coffee would be wonderful with you folks.

You don't need a "special" holster, your "normal" ones are treats to the eyes.
It doesn't even need to be a holster, the way you do leather is what is great.

No, no, I don't buy much but when I see something I want, I buy it.                                               (and put it in a shoebox)

When I need help from a salesman/salesperson, I ask for it.
When I don't need/want help, I tell them, "If I need help, I will ask for it.".

Very nice Rick. Now if it only came with safety snaps instead of belt loops.  ;)  ::)  ;D

Just a question Unc_Lee have you ever bought a pair of shoes for the "BOX" and then buy a gun or buy a gun then look for the shoebox ?:):)

You know that inquiring mind thingy . ;)

More GREAT work out of that little shop on 7th Avenue!

Love the 1911 "Special Edition" that should make the Sig very happy.

I also the hand formed T/C Contender holster on Facebook this week.  Lots of great comments on it also.

Great to know there is a shop that can and will make beautiful custom leather.

Trying to decide what will be next on my list!
