Has anyone shot the Ranger (original) for accuracy?

Has anyone actually taken their original Ranger out and shot it at like 10 yards for accuracy?
Has anyone shot one for 100's or 1000's of rounds to test the functionality and durability of the gun?

They all seem to be unfired in the box and I would really like to get one but it would be for packing and shooting and not just looking at.
I would need to sell several other guns in order to be in the neighborhood for pricing and would prefer to NOT buy one and find that they aren't accurate or reliable.

Thank you

Not yet Pat, it will be a while before I get the chance but others here surely have.

I am new to Naa mini's. I bought a Pug (1" barrel) just A few weeks ago. I go to the range every week with various firearms. So far I have shot at least 300 rounds out of the Pug in this short time.
You ask how accurate are they? From my experience so far, I can say that the first time I shot the Pug it was a challenge to hold on to but I quickly learned how to hold and fire it without problem.
I placed my target at about 3 yards. The more I shoot it the better my groupings. (Within a hand length) I'm learning how to use the sites and I also practice point and shoot. I intend to continue to train with the Pug and I have tried a few different handles to improve my grip. Keep in mind NAA Minis are meant to be used up close and personal so you have to be realistic with the distance you are trying to hit the bullseye.
I would think the Ranger with its longer barrel would be easier to get on target. It just takes practice, you have to be willing to put the time in.
I believe these little guns can withstand many rounds through them without issue.
I also think 10 yards is a ridiculous distance to shoot a mini.

I do carry one between others but it would grieve me to fire it , so as of now , no way and not likely , ha . :)

I fired about 10 rounds through mine the first day I got it, so that doesn't really account for much in answer to your question, but I could hit what I was shooting at, which I can't with my Ranger II. Quickly prices got silly and I found that I'd rather have the money to buy other guns than keep what would effectively become a Safe Queen.

I've often wondered myself how most of them would have functioned in normal use, given that most remain unfired we'll never know how they would have stood up, or even how many could have had issues from the factory.
