Total NAA investment

How much have you spent on your NAA collection? Most of you have minis, I just have a Guardian 32. Ballpark number for the gun, mags, holsters, and spare parts (I go overboard on every gun I own), I've spent around $750. I've got about $400 in ammo, too. Amazing how it adds up.

One advantage with minis multiplying, some of the grips and holsters work for several, and they all use the same ammo. That saves ya a few bucks.

My answer will be a bit out of norm I suspect, as I only have one NAA a BW. I have 5 er 6 holsters, three of which I made, cost goes way down on those, but I do have DGL so... I have 2 sets of grips  and working on my third, but again cost stays down. I do have 2 no longer working Laserlytes for it, lesson learned the hard way. So I don't really know what the cost of all that is, maybe $750, but on one gun.
I did not count the 1300 rounds of SD 22 mag, as I use that in my other 22 mag gun too.

The other question is how much does your wife THINK you've spent? 🤫

I don't have a wife nor anyone who could possibly care what I buy or own.

I don't know how much...I once had every little gun NAA made, each of four Guardians, and all of the Minis at that time, it was pre Ranger One.  Then I got sick, had to sell some stuff so I could pay bills and maybe eat now and then, but the Little Guns, the Mini revolvers, I kept.  Sold most of my Guardians though sadly.  Had a really nice custom shop special and engraved beautifully 380 acp Guardian but it is one that was sold...

Uncle Fatso

Around $1250 I think.
2 magnums 1 5/8"
2 BWs
1 Earl
1 Mini Master

The magnums were bought 2nd hand at a very favorable price many years ago. I usually carry a BW, as does my bride.

PaPa K

I have four, they arrived in the following order-
1 5/8” combo form th e Spanish Forks era.
Original Sidewinder in .22M
Pug in .22M. Trit sights. This one gets carried a lot. Sporting a MM grip.
BW Combo w/ Fixed sights. Second most carried.

Set of Magnum boots grips
Set of CVang magnum grips

Several holsters for the BW and Pug

So I am ok..Right?  Not in too deep....?

Probably $1300-1450?  Ammo doesn’t count as I feed it to others in the stable also.

Hmmm - this is something I've been avoiding, but I suppose it needs to be done. I made a list pretty sure it's accurate -  Here's what I discovered:

Total investment? A lot more than I can really afford, but less than I would like to have.

I can only postulate an educated guess. I have at least 25 with the last 2 digits of the serial number is 82, ie: 4" Earl, TF0082. I have 3 CCH, and 2 of the blued ones. I have 6 various models I carry/shoot. I also have a small assortment that have found their way to my safe, ie: BW in .17 HMR, never fired, original box, receipt showing the purchase of the gun and the box of ammo in the box with the gun. Just the ones mentioned so far add up to 39. I just remembered my very first one, not yet mentioned, and a short bringing the total to 41. I am confident there are likely another couple.

As to holsters, probably 8 - 12, plus grips, as well as both sizes of the skeleton belt buckle. Dollar value? I'm not sure I even want to know. If we use an arbitrary amount of $300 for an average per gun, that would bring it to $12,300.00 invested. And that is just guns. My first one was a LR in 1977. My next one was the 4" Earl, followed by the 3" Earl, in 2007 or 2008. The rest just seemed to find their way to me. Ammo? Oh heck no. No way to even guess.

My bride is a lovely Quaker lady who is not to fond of my weapons collection.  I only have two NAA revolvers, my BW and my ranger.  I will get the Ranger with the 2.5 inch barrel and most probably a pug, another BW in black and with any luck a sidewinder at some point.  My bad heart keeps.me from shooting much any more since I can't do Indoor ranges.  Can't be outside in winter cause of the oxygen but I still like to collect.  I also have four Desert Gun Leather holsters so I recon I have around 1500 invested.  I have stag customs grips on my ranger and these are not cheap.  These dang things are an addiction.
Live long and shoot straight.

I'm down to four.  The longer 22lr, a short Sidewinder, Ranger II, and black powder Earl.  ~$1300 before we get to the ammo and the Absaroka Kid rig for the BP Earl.

Everyone should have a BP Earl.   They will deliver it right to your door.

I figured some of you guys would be in the tens of thousands, LOL.....I wonder how much Uncle Lee has in just shoeboxes......I know the plastic ones are at least a buck apiece.....

To be fair, I've ballparked my total gun stable. Two Bearcats, two (.22 and .357) SP101s, my Guardian, and a 10/22 DSP. Close to 5K, not counting another K in ammo.

Exactly. I may be mad at the OP. Maybe. Well, maybe not.

RogueTS1

No idea and do not care to do the accounting on it. Way too many to waste such time on. Between the firearms, the holsters and then the ammo it would take far too long to tally it all up.

I remember going through one of the closets a year or so ago and finding a case of 9mm ammo I had forgotten about. "Hey, look what I found! I had forgotten that was in here." LOL  :o

Rogue, I do that too.  I find something, ammo and other things and think, COOL, I was going to get one or some but I don't have to now. 8)

Texron

Dang, I didn't want to think about, but since I have 8 minis and a Guardian, I would say probably in excess of 2K. Please don't tell my wife. Lol

Boisesteve

Well lessee,
My first mini is a Spanish Fork 22LR that I found used, soon after the safety notch cylinders came to market in the 1980's.  I don't remember the cost but back then it was less than now, so with oversize grips and a NAA Rybka holster I'll guess $200.  My first 22mag arrived in the 90's, also used.  Oversize grips came on it, and I've bought a few pocket holsters, so ?? $350 total.  My 4" 22mag Earl has been with me four or five years.  It's a special case, because it was partly paid-for with a $100 gift certificate to a gunshop my son-in-law won at a golf tournament and gave to me. Between my cost for the gun, oversize grips and two VERY nice custom holsters I've got around $450 spent. Then this year saw the EllettBros  tritium-front-sight special arrive. A bit less than $350 bought the gun, conversion LR cyl, and big grips. It uses the same holsters as my other 22mag.
So it looks like $1300-1400 for the four and all their stuff. I suspect I'm near the bottom of the pile here at the NAA asylum. More fun and usefulness for less money spent is hard to imagine.
Be well all, Steve in Boise

Bigbird48

Well I really don't remember what I paid for most of my guns but my Black Jack Talo which I had engraved is probably worth $500, and My Black Widow/c which I had engraved is probably worth $500, My Sheriff with custom serial # and fluted cylinder $450, , 2 EB sidewinders w/c and consec serial#'s $800, Limited Edition NAA Talo Bugout say $350,Rangerll w/c $500    Yikes a little over 3k in just mini guns, never realized. This doen't include custom grips or Holsters then add in my other guns gessh dont wanna do that lol . ::)

bearcatter

It's amazing how big the extras add up. Mine add up to at least as much as the guns themselves....I always try to get "the" holster, and "the" grips, etc. first; but I always see another one, and another one......$$$$

Not as much as Uncle Lee or Greyelky....about 6500 in minis and a guardian, which includes two original Rangers and two Ranger II's. Holsters probably at least 400, grips 200...ammo i have no idea.

KEN AR

Well I did a full inventory.  I do need to note that I have give about half of the inventory to my son in law.
He now has the 1 5/8 Spanish Fork Magnum along with the DGL holsters.
I now have the Black Widow and Holsters.
I bought the speed loaders and storage boxes from Rick and sent the Son in Law his set.
So by using my modern math I have one gave one away so:   1-1=0

Yep I'm at zero in the investment:  That's what I told my better half!

MR_22

At one time, I had around 34 NAA's, including most of the Talos and 6 or 7 of the .17's. Sadly, once some of them became more collectible, I sold them off. I don't know how many are left. I also don't know the total value, but you can probably do some rough math. I'm guessing maybe I have around 20 left. I need to count them up.

rustyzues

Started collecting the little guys about 2-years ago and the count so far is 10- LR/Mag combos and 1 older short. Just can't help myself I guess.

Warthog

I still have two 17 HMRs, and a bunch of other 22LR/Mag Minis and even a 32 Guardian.

At one time I had one, at least, of every firearm NAA made including the Guardians, some of which were custom shop too.

As for the total investment to include all the missing holsters and such, IDK.  Thousands of dollars. ???

Doc Holliday

Well....I've just got 6 Minis, but since my dear wife buys them all for me as presents..don't really know the cost! I know the Ranger II and Color Case Hardened Mini were between $400 to $500.
I do have some money wrapped up in custom holsters for the Ranger II and CCH Mini.
