Found this little bayonet at a gun show last weekend. From what I understand these were discontinued a few years ago. Hope it makes you smile.

FYI: It's loose on the Earl. I believe it's designed for the standard cylinder pin revolvers.

Haven't tried whittling. I must say I feel safer around packs of squirrels or hordes of ground squirrels. When 5 shots are gone I can CHARGE!

Uncle_lee- you might have described the best use for one of these bayonets. Keeping your revolver out of the mud. I thought one could help opening a stubborn chip bag.

How's this? The only reason I bought mine was for the "novelty" factor. That mini never leaves the house with the bayonet on it and when I take her to the range the bayonet stays home.

Yeah, I did carry mine with the laser a few times but I just bought mine to keep my collection up to date. It has slipped out of date some now, the new laser seems more proper for carry and use over the old one like I have. I don't want a laser though, the old one was sort of cool looking too but I guess these days I get things that I will use rather than just keep around.
