I have been considering buying the rubber grips for my Black Widow & I see there appears to be two versions. GRC-M & GSO-M.
What is the difference?

GRC-M has a screw. The GSO-M are slip on grips

Think of it this way; the GRC is like the wooden birds head grips in rubber, the GSO are the grips on the Pug and BO II

Are the slip-on grips slightly larger? Do they give you a better purchase on the pistol? It seems like the GRC wouldn't offer much advantage as you describe them.

Yes the slip ones give a bit more grip than the others. The GRC-M grips came with my wasp and I hated them. I never could get them tight enough imo so I replaced them.

For me both are still one finger grips. I bought a black Widow in part to have real grip power. That and the velocity that comes from a two inch barrel.

As for as I am concerned, the only rubber grip for the B/W is the original (GMMB I think) grip that comes on them.  It is the only rubber grip I have found that does not cling to the pocket.  I have them on my Pug and Ranger II also.  I have tried the smaller rubber grips, don't see as they conceal any better than the original grips that come on the B/W.

Hey Rick's Place, Could you please tell me the unloaded weight of your Pug now that you have swapped your Pug's smaller rubber grips for the larger Black Widow grips.  The Pug's specs list a weight of 6.4 ounces and I am guessing this increased the weight to close to 7.5 ounces.  I ask this because I am trying to help my other half find a pistol she will actually carry.  It will be in her purse most of the time even though I would rather her carry it IWB, and if her purse gets too heavy it will be another gun sitting in our safe!

its probably just me but i dont get putting the bigger black widow grips on a pug. the whole purpose of a pug is for an easily concealed, light gun that you will take everywhere with you and not even think about it.
It's too bad that our friends cant be here with us today

I carry my BW completely concealed in my front right pocket all the time. It seems plenty light and easily concealable to me. Even with the "big" Black Widow grips and 2" barrel.

But as HeyJoe said its only understandable with the original grips the gun is going to print much less as designed . Sure there are exceptions but a keen eye will pick up on it in the pocket , unless of course your wearing a moo-moo or tent like trousers . The guns were made a certain way on purpose as in mini . ;)

I totally agree. I've tried the BW grip on my Pug and it adds too much bulk and prints. I've also tried the boot grip and although they are a little smaller than the BW grip I still didn't like them. I'm now back to the original pug Grip. After all the experimenting I find NAA knew what they were doing when they designed the Pug.

You can tell there's something in my right pocket, but I don't think anybody can tell what it is. My keys and swiss army knife make a similar lump in my left pocket.

This is what it looks like when I'm sitting down

Looks like you are good to go.

Looks fine as long as it is easily retreviable and doesn't hang up do to the rubber ,  rubber and deeper pockets never works well for myself anyhow , the rubber likes to grab most the time . Good luck though hope you never have to get it out and use it like most of us ..  :)

With the watch pocket you could have an extra .22 short.
