You guys must think I'm nuts!  I got two Ranger Ones with consecutive serial numbers when they first came out.  I have shot both of them several times at the range, carried them, and put wobbly folders on both of them and generally treat them as just another of my minis.  I wonder what they are worth now?  I bet not as much as a safe queen.

You ARE NOT Nuts... You are a Shooter!  :)

Safe Queens, and Saved Original Packaging are for Return On Investment (ROI) Future Sales.

NONE of that makes a Difference for a Shooter.... Just Have Fun, and Enjoy!  ;)

Apparently All Collector Interest for the Ranger I's has gone away since the Readily Available Ranger II showed up.

The Ranger I's are still a Limited Run Rarity... with a different Features and Build Quality... So Logically, Still Qualifies as "Collectable".

Purpose Built "Collectables", such as the old Winchester 94 Commemoratives, Never Gained much Collector Interest until the Last Few Available Safe Queens.

Same with the Second Generation Colt Cap-n-Ball Revolvers.

Time will Tell if Ranger I's can draw 4 Digit Prices again?

I'm thinking about listing Mine for $1600... And IF it doesn't Sell by July 4th... I'll Celebrate Hoarding Independence by Shooting it at a Safe Backstop here on my 7 Acres.  ;D

I have been watching all Ranger I sales on GunBroker since NAA quit making them.
They sold anywhere from $1700.00 (used) to $2700.00 (safe queen).
As soon as the Ranger II went up for sale, NO MORE Ranger I sales. They have been put up for auction but no one bids on them.

You guys gotta wait for the economy to turn around BUT that might be some time like five-ten years . You fellas can hold out that's long can't ya's . It still will be rare to get over two grand for them and it will be strictly collectors probably from overseas . ;)
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

Just think............................. Are you thinking??

If I drop dead all my collection will go in a yard sale for less than $100.00 each.
I have already talked to the dealers around here about selling them on consignment for my wife after I die. They said "NO". Very firmly I might add.
Makes me sick... No wait, I don't want to be sick.

I'm there too.

I've given a few things to my Youngest Son, living Locally.

His idea of selling My Stuff is... Take a couple of Snapshots with his Phone, and posting them on Social Media with:
"Here's what I have... if interested, make an offer!"

The same Son graduated from my old High School... 35 years later.
I gifted my one acre lot My Mom gave me for My Graduation... He Sold it a couple of years later... and went on a Spending Spree.  :-[ >:(

Cavscout we live parallel lives I can't tell you how close that son is to mine . My bozo is forty something , never a permanent job , EVER , no drivers license for ten-twelve years , thinks he proud of that ,drunken girlfriends continuously , says what he does for a living with drinking . Wants to take over my business ( I think) but at the top working minimal hours with top pay , dang I could go on and on but I should have suffocated this moron well before it came to this . He's salivating seeing what he thinks is waiting for him if and when I go . Wifes got very strict orders not to let him in the house which she very much agrees with .  Thank GOD , pretty much everything is under heavy lock and key . Shame on us to have to say things like this but the world on the outside made this guy like so many out there anymore . Have a sixty something brother -in-law whos identical to this jackass but he's a thief to boot . I need everyone on the planet to pray for this twelve year old forty something jerk . WOW that felt good to get that out . Rant over thanks for the ear ,(eyes) .

Oh my LORD ,"SPOCK" yeah . Like so many other self made geniuses , the all knowing (all mouth) . Everyone of these types have the answers BUT know real time knowledge to help . Ever since they took away the "I'll kick your as*" if not kill you , the world has gone downhill if not backwards . We live in a very LIBERAL world now never to return so I say let it go we won't have to deal with this mess much longer ,sorry for the younger people that might know we need the OLD FASHIONED ways like one or two or even three hundred years back . So be it as it is .

And... To bring it back to Guns... That Downhill Slide has come with a Loss of Coping Skills, Value for Life, and Amnesia about Consequences for Personal Actions!

Nowadays, Feeling "Left Out" or "Bulled" is taken as Justification for Homicidal-Suicidal Reactions!  :( :'( >:(
