Guardian changes?

I know over time there have been some changes made. Not sure when or exactly what.

They changed the magazine bottoms (just the bottoms?) and magazine catch. Enlarged the takedown button. Reshaped the trigger. Went from rubber to nylon Hogue grips. Added rubber washers for grip screws. I think they did minor changes on the drawbar spring, drawbar, and hammer?

Mine is a year old, with an AF serial. I don't think anything has changed in that time.

Anybody have corrections or additions ??

I think your number has all the upgrades done to the guardian 32 I know I have a older one I sent in that was upgraded but the serial number started AB it was  from the late 90s.   I’m pretty sure the original  serial number that started with  AA and AB  there has been upgrades from those Earlier serial numbers.  Same with the guardian 380  me and my dad have our  guardian 380 were Old Early 2000’s when they came out we sent them three or four years ago for upgrades.  I would just call customer service  recently I just sent in a mini revolver to have a  unFluted Cylinder in 22 Magnum  fit it up and timed.  I dealt with Rachel very good person  knows her job excellent Customer service person from North American arms  she’ll help you.  The company is very good and the customer service Department everyone there has always been very good.

I'm not concerned that mine is up to date, 99.9% sure of that. Just curious as to all the changes since Guardians first started.

I've dealt with NAA's CS in ordering spare parts, and know their folks are the best. My 32 has been issue free from day one.

Wasn't there a short lived Kalifornia model?

Kalifornya doesn't like the barrel length now, on Guardians or Minis under 4 inch. I think (?) earlier, the Guardian just had to have the ILS, integral locking system, that they still make, I think. There's a hole in the right grip for using a key to lock the action.
