Removing Floor Plate of Mag?

How do you remove the floor plate (plastic part)

   on the mag...the manual doen't say!

Dwight:

   

   In the middle of the base plate you will notice a small hole through which a locking nipple on the floor plate is visible.  Using a punch (the head of a finishing nail will do), depress the locking nipple and slowly ease the base plate off of the magazine.  Take good care to retain control of the spring, which will otherwise be apt to launch itself, the follower, and the floor plate across the room.  As you ease out the spring, remember to note how it is fitted into the magazine for purposes of reassembly.  

   

   Be careful throughout the process, or you'll be searching for parts on the floor.
