Mini-Magnum Barrel using .22LR and .22 WMR/Magnums

Greetings:

While doing target practice with the Mini-Magnum,  I noticed that firing 5 rounds of the .22LR does not heat the barrel the way firing 5 rounds of .22 Magnum does.  After firing the magnum rounds, the barrel can double as a tea warmer. 8)
