Those are some sweet collections. If I were to build a collection it could only go from 1 to 2 minis since the only legal NAA guns on the CA DOJ roster are the 22LR and the 22Mag - both with the 1.16" barrel. There's not enough difference between those two choices to motivate me to spend my next ($250+ OTD) on my only other mini option IMO.
If you're not swimming against the current you're being carried along with it.

Ca is harder for a person to gather more Minis.  Maybe though more will be legal for you there one day.  NAA needs to give the DOJ or who ever it is there one to inspect and see if they will allow it.  So maybe one day that will happen.

Thanks folks for the good wishes for my collection.

The mini that got me back into the minis was my Pug. It's rare that I go anywhere without it. My collection has grown larger since making the Pug purchase.
Real nice photo

Mine was a 1 1\8 .22lr

Didn't get much use after I picked up a 1 5\8 mini .22 magnum\LR combo. So I traded it in on a rifle.

My first was purchased in 1977. My next one was the 4" Earl. I now have in excess of 30 or so. I think. The engraving was done about 12-14 years ago.
Love the engraving and ivory. What would that level of engraving cost?

I have seen the mini master for sale and I bet you can get an earl, sidewinder or sheriff, and definitely a hog leg. See in California even if it's not on the "stupid" roster. If it has a 4 inch barrel and an overall length of 7 inched, being a single action revolver, you can get it ordered. You just don't see them in cases for sale.

Of all the models I named, I think I might get a mini master next because of the sights (fixed) as that is my one complaint of my lr mini. The sight is too tall and probly needs filing, as is, it is unusable. That being said...it is a hard choice which way to go for my next mini, because I really like the "look" of the other models which more closely resemble the original minis.

Your right about them needing to get with the doj. Franklin armory got the single action ar pistol on the roster. Without having "microstamping" capabilities.

It must be just a matter of money and choosing the "high runners" that will pay back their investment. I gotta say, I always hoped I'd see a black widow for sale. Hint hint, Sandy. Can you speak to this at all? If your out there reading this.

We don't intend to qualify any more models for the CA market.

Don't blame you at all Sandy, I wouldn't bother with Ca either.

Honestly, I don't blame you either.

Good decision Sandy!  CA rules and it's shifting sands government is just too much to deal with in my opinion.

KEN AR

First one was a 1 5/8 Mag, Gunbroker late night bid.  No one else awake, next day got the notice my 125 did the trick.
Surprise was when i showed it to Rick at Desert Gun Leather was the fact that is was made in Spanish Fork, UT, not Provo, UT.
Seems that I had found a early model in very good condition.

Gave that one to my son in law after I got my Black Widow. Put some CVANG grips on it and a DGL holster for him to carry it in.

I guess that gun has now been the first NAA for two people!

I found another Spanish Fork, UT 1 5/8 Mag about a month ago in the Local candy store.
Had note on it that sold as is due to pin coming out.  What could I do? I could not leave a early one like that in that condition.
Well after it going to NAA Customer service it now has a new Mag Cylinder, new pen and a 22 LR cylinder was fitted to it also.  They polished it up and it is as good as new now.

So first second and third in less than a year...  Thanks Rick!  I must stop, well maybe after I find a deal on a Mini Master...
