Larry Seecamp died and so did the warranty. To do any repair today is $80 in shipping, $60 hr gunsmith, and parts. Ammo is $30 a box of twenty. I can see Whalley's point (new owner) on charging for repairs. My repair is $260 so it's not worth it.

As far as the new Whalley guns - I have no idea as to quality. My back up guns are a S&W snubnose (worthless), a Sig 232 (great gun but too big), and a RM380  (super gun). The plastic striker fires are silly, and the mini 1911s do nothing for me.

Anyway it's off to the gunshows to look at a NAA 32

Seecamps have no real pros in comparison to the Guardians. The three Seecamps are the same size, just a tiny bit smaller than the Guardian 32, and within an ounce or so of each other in weight, around 14 oz loaded IIRC. The Guardians are 15 and 21 loaded.

Cons: They only work with HP ammo, factory specifies Winchester Silvertips, FMJ won't fit magazine. They have a magazine safety. Heel type mag release. No sights. Awkward takedown. If you forget and press trigger with left grip off, some of the action comes loose and bends the drawbar spring.

How they got so popular I can't imagine. Even selling at scalper prices at one time. The Guardians are a much better pistol, but now run second to the P32, whose only pro is weight, about 9 oz loaded. Otherwise a so-so gun with plastic frame and even some of the action parts. Reliabilty and corrosion issues. I'll keep my Guardian.
"If you get it and didn't work for it, someone else worked for it and didn't get it..."

* Guardian .32 (2) * Zastava M70 .32 (3) * Bearcat stainless (2) * SP101 .22 * Ruger SR22 (2) * S&W M&P 15-22 Sport

I had a 32 Guardian and traded in on a Sig Sauer 938 a few years back. (love the 1911 platform) Nine vs 32 carry the same in a pocket for me and 9mm is far superior to the 32 acp. I traded a double shotgun for a Seecamp 32 about the same time. I like it, it works flawlessly, and that being said, my Pug is always in my pocket, usually my shirt pocket.
