Hello, I am new to this forum and hoping to get some information on after market grips for a newly purchased Sidewinder swc 1.5" barrel? I really like the CV grips ,but after reading his web page noticed they do not fit on the sidewinder or can they be modified to do so? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx

First welcome azcoues. Maybe consider some thingmeister grips. He has some that are similar in design to Cv and he does have some that work with the sidewinder.

The CV grips can be easily adapted to fit the sidewinder, just a little filing or carving where they are too tight.

CV grips can fit the Sidewinder with a little filing with a half round file.
Just file the away a small amount where the top of the grip meets the recoil shield.

azcoues,
First, Welcome!

It takes very little effort to fit the CVang grips to the recoil shield. Like so many others on here, I have several sets. My guess is you will like them.

Another "WELCOME" coming from me Azcoues but can't help seeing I don't own any CVang grips . Filing away material like in Unc_Lee's pic should do the trick .
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

Welcome aboard. I have some Thingmeister grips on my Sidewinder. They are very nice and feel great in the hand.
