Heya Jim! How do you like the full polish? I've polished two so far with good results and I'm looking at taking on my 3 and 4 inch Earls to spruce them up a bit. Great looking set up!!

ifly65

Hey Sean!  Its an incredible polish. They did an awesome job. I would love to see pics! Ive been reading that NAA no longer does them?

Welcome to the forum Flybinker!

Ifly, what is that hoosamabob under you nice polished mini???

Moderndayedison

Nice finds Beach Hunter.

If I was finding stuff like that I would be out

after every storm made landfall, first thing the

   next morning...time permitting that is.

Metal detecting can be quite addicting as a hobby.

I haven't found anything of any real value yet, but

   the key word is "yet".

I was scanning the banks of the Mississippi and

I began finding allot of old fishing weights, and

that got me curious about looking for something

a little more interesting out West.

I'm looking forward to it...even if it is a quick

one week workation here or there to follow up on

   various hunches or locations.

hahahahha.......right?!?!?

Chopprs: I know you recognize the Jason MadHat Holster so, you must mean the background? It is a picture in a frame of my Grandfathers watch parts (he was a Wis. watchmaker through generations).  I took the pic of the watches years ago.

chopprs

Oh that is very kewl! I collect Swiss Automatics so I really like watch stuff. It amazes me how the heck anyone could put all of those tiny pieces together let alone design a mechanical timepiece that can accurately keep time. A couple of mine lose less than a minute a year, amazing!

    Thanx!

ifly65

What Swiss Autos do you have?

Yeah I have watch making books from my family and its way over my head. My great grandfather built a large street clock in Amery Wis.

I have a few Rolex Reps...a couple of them are very well made replicas. Its sort of a fun hobby to find the right people overseas.  MBW is the best brand for that. Ive done minor servicing work on some of the cheaper reps. Im tempted to buy the watch tools and bench accessories.

lewiss

I find it interesting that a lot of us "gun guys" are also into watches and coins. Must be the intricate parts and details. I collect Seiko automatics, and would love to collect chronographs (but the good ones make gun collecting seem like pocket change, LOL).

flyinbiker2001

Exactly what are hoosamabobs are these hoosamabobs

coinchop

I bought a lot of antique pocket watches

before I figured out I couldn't own every old

watch out there. My oldest watch was made in

1869. Its coin silver, hunter case, key wind.

Wish it could talk. If your into watches they

are like guns, you want them all. To have a watch thats 140 years old that still runs

like the day it was made is awesome to me.

I hope my minis are still shooting in a 140

   years.

What Lewiss says about alot  of gun guys being

into watches and coins has some truth. Add

knives to that also. I like coins but I cut

a lot of them up. I have knives all over the

place. Just bought a LILE the other day. It

never ends, now its NAA minis. Life is good..

chopprs

Ifly, I have a bunch but some of my favorites are:

    Panerai-Pam 126

    Jaeger Lecoultre Master Control

    Mont Blanc- Timewalker

and of course the Rolex- Two ToneSub

I'll see if I can get a pic of my winding cabinet up later.....

Chopprs:

I just found this thread and the two of Redhhawk4's "fellas" posted above and attributed to us................

Was a bit confused at first like you.

   Then it hit me.........

If you are out with your pals and the cops find your dope in the glove box, the first thing you say is "it's not mine"..........

When you were a kid, and your parents found you with some Rum you slipped out of their liquor cabinet, you said "it's not mine".......

When Joe shoplifter gets caught in J. C. Penney with the stuff he swiped,,, he says "these are not mine"....

Soooooo.....  I am guessing that Redhawk4's wife walked in on him with his two little light in the loafers boys in their skirts (probably without the pants under them at the time) and he said "they're not mine, these belong to Chopprs and Barky"........ and she made him post the pictures..............

Personally, I don't swing (or swish)that way, and in THAT type of mini, this is more my style....

But in this day and age..................  Whatever

   Barky

redhawk4

As Shakespeare wrote:

"Me thinks he doth protest too much"

Barky, I didn't think your masculinity would be so easily bruised by my little quip.

Here's a little something for your hounds to help cheer up your day

sirbarkalot

My masculinity was not bruised.  Is yours?

I took it as a joke, and responded in kind, with a humerous take on your dig..........

I hope you are not one that cannot take what you dish out.......... and the little hottie posted above seems to indicate that is not the case........

Mozart (my only un-neutered male) the Chow Chow says Hubba Hubba and wants a date..........

It was all meant in good humor Barky

At least Mozart got a cheap thrill out of it all.

.....Ok guys, we have strayed (no pun intended) before on threads but doggy porn!?!?!?!?

zippovarga

"I find it interesting that a lot of us "gun guys" are also into watches and coins. Must be the intricate parts and details."

Hmm...interesting...I hadn't thought about it till it was brought up.....Pens, Watches, Knives, Zippo items, Flashlights, Firearms and TOOLS, TOOLS, TOOLS! I'm not out in the shop, so no tool pics.

Just the stuff up stairs....so.....looks like many of us do collect a variety of things. Pretty cool!!

umpire

Here`s to fine guns , sharp tools and time pieces

redhawk4

"I hadn't thought about it till it was brought up.....Pens, Watches, Knives, Zippo items, Flashlights, Firearms and TOOLS, TOOLS, TOOLS!"

I'm guilty as charged on all counts and enjoying the pictures of the above listed items.

   Regarding less desirable pictures:

Chopprs, I was thinking of it as a Mini Yorkie in a Mini, perfect for the "show off your mini thread". Just some light relief for Barky after him outing me publicly on the Forum

....I have been thinking about this for a while....

Barky, does your wife know you have that picture of the girl wigglin' her but-tox?

You mean it's not his wife? . . . Shame on you Barky

I guess it would be better than his wife finding pics of young men on his puter with their undershorts over their trousers though........

zippovarga

lmao.....lawdy lawdy......I used to go to jokes.com for a good laugh, now I just come in here for a good chuckle.

redhawk4

Despite apologising for posting those pictures over a week ago, I still feel a little ashamed - they continue to haunt me

I should have known they'd cause consternation on a Macho Gun Forum.

Getting caught with such pics and people thinking you were getting off on it, would probably be the ultimate shame for most of us. In the old days we'd have had to retire to the study and do the right thing.

Redhawk4:

I don't have that.  That is a portrait of Choppers in his human form, and I just passed it on.  He is really an alien from outer space.......

Hey; if you can post self portraits in your dress up clothes............. so can Chopprs

Course he is a lot better looking than you.......

Actually yes, she does know.  She let me take that of her after her last tattoo session (you DID look at the tattoo on the shoulders, RIGHT????)and the jiggle is computer added animation..........  if you must know.....

I thought you were not in possession of any sense of humor............

I guess you should not have picked a fight if you lack the guts to take the counter punch......

redhawk4

She should have gone with a Tattoo of a Mini, then we could have got back on topic.

I feel less guilty about posting the "light in their loafer twins" after you trying to pass your animated pic. as Chopprs - that came very close to being as disturbing as the pulled up "tighty whities"

chopprs

.......I didn't find the pic of Barky's wife disturbing at all. As a matter of fact she is my new desktop!

redhawk4

I can't look at it the same Chopprs, since Barky eluded it was you. Obviously all that bike riding has toned your buns

He also said something about you being an alien.

If aliens really looked like that, you wouldn't hear all those Redneck guys complaining about being abducted and forced into sexual experiments by them - they'd be lining up in the streets shouting take me, take me.
