Concealment Holster Solutions Draw Button

I was thinking of ordering a holster from Concealment Holster Solutions.  One of the options he offers is the "draw button" which is supposed to be used by the trigger finger to help while drawing the gun.

It's free of charge, so it might be a no-brainer to just get it, but I wonder how effective it really is in drawing the gun.  Personally, I'd like to be able to just draw the gun and have it come out without messing around with my trigger finger trying to press the "button".

If you have a Concealment Holster Solutions holster with the draw button, how does it work and how do you like it?  Is the gun in the holster snug enough to require a draw button, or does the gun pull freely from the holster?

I think the holster looks nicer without it, but then again if the draw button makes a big difference, then I'd go for it.

   Thanks.

I have John's holsters for three of my guns. Two of them have the draw button, but I never use it. It's easier to use the bottom segment of my middle finger to separate the gun from the holster in my pocket. With very little training, that technique becomes second nature.

I have two of John's holsters with the button.  I think the button should be on the left side near the top.  That way you could push off with your thumb when drawing. For me it doesn't work as well on the right side.  John, when I get my two Sidewinders I'll order two more holsters with the button on the left side, OK.  To each his own.

I have several of his holsters and the button is an answer to an unasked question in my opinion.  I grasp the gun by the grip while still in the pocket, push off with the back of the middle finger and the gun comes right out.  When you received your holster from him, it will be a bit tight.  The holster will come in a baggie, and you put your UNLOADED gun in that baggie, and put it in the holster (he says for a few minutes, but I just leave it in there overnight) and after a short time, the gun fits the holster perfectly when the baggie is removed.  Then the gun will slide in and out of the holster with no problem and no button is needed.  His holsters are the best fitting I have had, INCLUDING Mad Hats.
