I'm looking for an oversize grip for my new Sidewinder. I bought a set of Staglon grips back when they where Product of the Month, but they don't fully cover the frame on my Sidewinder... they do happen to fit my Ranger nicely. I also have a pair of Engraved Eagle Head Grips, but they are noticeably thicker than the original grips (fully blocking the near frame two chambers), and also don't fully cover the frame.

Like many here, I have big mitts for such small revolvers... so I'm looking for experience opinions between the Mini-Master grips and the Oversize Rosewood grips. Interest in Rosewood is for 'style' and non-sticky factor for pocket holster draw. Yeah, the Staglon grips aren't oversize but 'style' was the driving force there.

The oversize wood grips are a tiny bit wider than the rubber oversized grips. I personally prefer the wooden grips to the rubber; I have both in my cache. To me they provide just as good a grip but slide in and out of the pocket a little bit better and they look much, much better.

Thanks roguets1, that confirms my guess from the product pics on thickness. I think grip thickness will always be an extraction issue until someone designs scooped out grips ala Smith & Wesson target grips. Cvang?

I have TUFF Quickstrips here, so loading is a two per swipe proposition... grip thickness won't be an issue during loading.
