I am thinking about replacing the stock grips that came on my Ranger II but I  have a question to those of you that are more familiar with these little guns. Are you limited to just Ranger 2 grips from the NAA site or will all of the NAA pistol grips interchange stock and aftermarket?

As I understand it, all the Magnum grips will fit. Aftermarket? Like all of the other guns, some are better than others, but size wise, the ones sold for magnum frames should be OK. Stay with the quality guys and you should be fine.

Only grips designed for the Magnum Frames will fit the Ranger II. These days, the ones from NAA may very well need some more than moderate fitting.  :'(

Once properly fit though, the NAA grips are great.  ;D

More to come with some new Desert Gun Leather (Rick) holsters in the next few days guys.  8)

Your biggest concern would be CVang style grips. They flow upwards, creating a faux recoil shield. The latch that holds the top to the bottom of the frame extends a tiny amount wider than the frame. It will require a small amount of sanding to provide the clearance, which, even for a novice wood worker, should be easy. There is not another style of grip that comes to mind that would require modifying, but, just keep the thought in mind and go for it.
