This is supposed to be my prototype. Now that I know where the stitches need to be I can straighten out the lines and such. But I think I'll let this wear out a bit before I decide to open it up to make a pattern. The nice thing about it is that it's soft and flexible. The suede keeps it in the pocket nicely. No need to 'push off'

The gun is a black widow, and the knife is a Victorinox Minichamp with 8 blades that I use every day. There's always a big knife not far away, but the little one handles so many tasks well.

Nice. I thought scout getting a combo like that for my Pug and leatherman

barrytheprof

Given the size of a leatherman, I'd probably put it above the barrel rather than below the grips.

Yes that makes sense

Nice holster. If this is your first effort, VERY nice. My first one was not quite that neat. Since not many people ever saw it, I didn't sweat it.

I have Rick (Desert Gun Leather) make me some very similar (except no pocket for the knife) I sell in my shop. They are popular.

It looks like it will work just fine.

Very nice. Looks like that speed strip can do double duty as a comb.

RogueTS1

I guess in a pinch they may just do that for the Princess. I, on the other hand, do not have enough hair to use such things.  :-[

Nice job on that barrytheprof

I started a prototype for myself last week to carry my knife with the Black Widow.  I'll post it once it is "presentable" (doesn't get thrown under the table with other's that will never see the light of day!)  ;)

I carry the BW in a pocket holster with a 5 shell pouch and thought... "why 5 extra shells? I have 2 other guns on me!" and my knife is always at the bottom of my pocket under the holster and BW :o

Great job!

That would not work for me.  Too many teeth to be my comb.
A gun is like a parachute; if you need it and don't have it, you probably won't need it again.

Knife and gun, different pockets for me. My BW came back today.

My wife says Batman has nothing on me.

I agree about the Victorinox, mine is a Signature Lite: blade, scissors, nail file,
small flathead screwdriver, led light, ballpoint pen.
Very handy little tool. If you don't have one, you need one.
Yes a little pricey for it's size but good quality and in MHOP worth it.
How many times have you needed something to write with, or just a little light
to see how to get a key in a lock. Like I said very handy.

Uncle_Lee

Now I know why some people carry back packs.... ;D ;D ;D

I have one of those Swiss knives.
I got it free from Marlboro years ago. The light still works. But mine has tweezers instead of the ball point pen.

I always have and use a "Push Off" on my pocket holsters.  The holsters I have made, have them, and I have added them to "Sticky" type holsters.  And I generally, when standing with my hands in my pockets, push the gun in and out of the holster just a tiny bit to make sure it is loose; sometimes after an hour or so of sitting, standing, etc, the gun seats itself just a little tighter than I like, so I exercise it frequently.

Nice job on your pocket holster Ruger  :)

My pet peeve is it's two thousand twenty, not twenty, twenty.
But I don't correct people. I know what they mean.

bearcatter

I was born in 1956. I say "nineteen fifty-six", not "nineteen thousand fifty-six". So what's wrong with "twenty-twenty" ?

Nowadays a lot of younger people would be scratching their heads wondering what twenty meant , sorry to say .

Bearcatter, there's nothing wrong with saying like that.
It's just me. I was just trying to make a point.

Wumbey,
No offense intended. Just a military background kicking in.

Nice to see folks are prepared in the way they see fit.

Oh! And it's Thutty-Thutty  and Thutty Ought Six.

Yep,I agree two thousand twenty.  20/20 is eye sight designation.

Top Dog,
We are all good.

Ruger, I like your pocket holster - IMO every pocket holster should be made with a shape-blocking panel on the side opposite the leg, in order to make Concealed Carry real.
