Lowering the 15 Posts

Should NAA Lower the Post count to less then 15

Lower the mandatory post count to 5
Lower the mandatory post count to 10
Get rid of the capcha
Make the Capcha easier to read
Use a I am not a Robot check mark instead of the stupid capcha
Leave it as is

I think we loose a lot of members who would normally stay and make useful post if it weren't for the mandatory 15 post count.Why can't who ever monitors these post do it in 5 post or even none. Just list the rules and immediately ban who ever spams us.

 It might be better to lower it so newbies can post pictures sooner but then again it would make more work for who ever keeps the spammers out and they are everywhere , this service is done for no charge by the way , thanks to who ever keeps us clean . BOY do I hate lowlife spammers . ;)

This is like a political poll.
My answer is not up there......
I looked for "Leave it alone."

It is there for a reason. The number count is there for a reason.
If a newbie can't hack 15 posts, then maybe they might not fit on the forum. (I could get harsh on this statement, but I won't)

Come on now.
Are we getting so PC that we would hand out a metal, a ribbon, or a trophy just for participation???   I think not..

On the other forum I frequent they have no minimum, we get spammers and unwanted bogus ads constantly. I would keep it the way it is. 15 posts is nothing to join a great bunch of like minded individuals with solid information at hand. Also lot's of great pics for Uncle Lee.

What I see is people joining and wanting info, or want to post pictures, and get frustrated and don't come back. I think its may mostly be the capcha thing. That can be made easier. Fixing that would make more people stay.
I added a new leave it alone option :D

I'm a new mbr on probation.  The 15 posts isn't off-putting to me, because I value the spam filtering.  However, I'd welcome an alternative to capcha.  I've used it alot here for searching and always have trouble because I'm color blind and aging eyes.  Invariably it takes me a few attempts to git er right.  MY bottom line, whatever works best for the volunteer monitors.

I voted to kill the capcha pictures, second choice is to lower the post count. "I'm not a robot" and ten posts, maybe even five, is enough.

Jeese . . . I don't even remember the 15 post delay . . . evidently it just didn't draw my attention.  So What one has to wait.

I couldn't check more than one option.
I would like to see the number of posts reduced to 10, and the captcha made easier to read.
I didn't have a problem posting pictures during that period, but others have. Ten posts will ease that.
If banks can have easier to read captchas so can NAA.

15 posts are not hard to acquire. Start a post introducing yourself, the respond to each post welcoming you. It could be done relatively quickly.

A new member can go to the "Test Area" and get 15 mighty quick....

It they can't handle a little stress, how long would they last here????

If a newbie cannot pass the initiation I do not believe they will like it around here when it gets heated sometimes.
