OK, I finally got around to digging in the shoebox and came up with a couple more pictures.
First is my new desktop picture. Beauty beyond compare.

Next is my new set-up from Rick. I chose the .25NAA because I have more of that ammo than .32acp. Alright, alright, I don't want to hear it. I put the keys on the key holder like a stupid person. I just wasn't thinking. The wife already caught it and had her a good laugh.

Next is two of my carry minis with their Rick holsters.

Then some Mimi Masters.

Then some .17 HMR's.

Heck, make another pot.
I am getting ready to go outside for a smoke.
With the wind chill, it is 33 out there.

I have but 2 pleasures left in life.
Eating and smoking (3 a day) and I will not give either.

I watch the TV out of boredom. We didn't watch very much before moving to town. Too much other stuff to do.
Shoot during the day and reload in the evening.

I can say that I don't miss smoking but if I had one I might as well run out and buy a carton because there would be no stopping me then. So if I don't have that "ONE" I don't have to worry about the rest.

Hi Uncle_Lee, Thanks for posting all those great pictures! You probably have the best collection of .17 cal NAA's  ;)

I'd like to find someone near me with a .17 Mini Master.  It would be fun to try  ;D

It's a good thing your wife let you in on "how to work" your Belt Snap key ring.

I would loose my keys all the time before I started making these and using them!

I won't be getting out anytime soon. Saturday, I cut the last 1/2" of my middle finger, left hand off with a table saw...
just where I wanted to go; to the ER all day on a Saturday during the pandemic.

OUCH!!!!!!!!! Hope you heal up well enough. All this ER panic is messing things up for those, such as yourself, that actually need ER attention.  :-\

My Desktop Picture Of My Favorite Guns. I was aboard this Destroyer in the Combat Information Center alongside a Soviet merchant ship with nuclear missiles on deck being removed from Cuba in November of 1962. I remember hearing the US Navy PBY flying overhead as it took this picture.

Al Hope you heal up ok, I cut the top inch off my thumb many moons ago, had a board kick back my hand kept going ::) They sewed it  back on ,still no feeling in it tho.
OV Congrats hope you can keep it up. I quit in 97 but it was to late already did all the damage to my lungs.
Unc Nice Pic's , I like your Punisher Holster LOL  ::) heres one I made for my SR22

Al, my sympathetic pain won't help you any but I hope you heal quickly. Saw an injury like that once but it was the tips of all four fingers. Reaching under a running lawn mower is never a good idea. We never found the lost parts in the grass either.

Al that's sucks. Man that's gotta hurt. Do you still have a middle finger on the right hand? You know just in case someone pisses you off.

So sorry to hear this. Hope you finger heals quickly. My best friend cut his off with a circular saw. Folks will ask how he lost his finger, and he tells 'em, "I didn't. It's in a jar on top of the fridge." AND IT IS!

Yep as best as I can figure, the board kicked back, pulling my left hand with it.

Hmm, so far I've only seen the piece between the blade and the fence kick forward, sometimes with a lot of force. Were you working behind the blade? I'm really trying to keep my safety procedures up to date.

Bigbird48

Its been 40 years or more since my mishap, but the way I remember it I was pushing a long board thru the saw with my left hand on the inside of the fence ::) and the power fluctuated causing the blade to stop and start real quick. The board inside the fence was shot backwards and my hand kept going forwards thru the blade taking most of the top of my thumb off. It was dangling by a small piece of skin. :-[ :-\
Is this what happen to you Al?

Canoeal

Not Quite, but close. 5/4" Long board, yes. cutting 1/4" strips of the edge. Board kicked back bring my left (forward) hand back with it.

I have push sticks which I almost never use. You can't control the board well with them. Maybe some kind of push-block?

Myself I use a chop saw on my cutting table , I cut aluminum 95% of the time and am very familiar with letting blood (no parts yet but very ,very ,very close) . When your cutting thick or thin metal (angle ,flats , squares and such) mainly thicker if you hear a "PING" it's way too late to think you got away with that cut it happens just that quick because the metal jumped back or bent from hanging up . SLOWER YOU JACKAS* I SAY TO MYSELF . I've given a couple of pints of that precious red liquid over the years . A lot of times I've been stabbed by flying cut pieces here there and just about everywhere , and yes including the groin . 80 toothed 12 inch carbide blade does quick work to soft metals , wood piece of cake . My Dad GOD rest his soul had a BAD habit of leaving the top off the riding Snapper mower where the bag attached and sure enough one day he put his foot down on the platform while running and guess what , had to take his foot plus half way up the chin to be fitted for a prosthesis after that . NOW that was ugly ,a real life triple OUCH ! .
