Took my replacement Guardian to the range yesterday for the first time. I got it back in November, so it was overdue! We hit a record 86* yesterday with partly cloudy and light breeze. My range time was early, in seventies. Perfect shooting day.

Anyhow, it fired a full box of Aguila with no issues at all. Only got two of the normal last round stovepipes. I figured since they had such a hard time getting it out to me, it was well tested by them, but now I can make it official. It shoots exactly like my other one. Including flinging the empties over my left shoulder or into my forehead. Oh well.

Took a Bearcat and shot a half box of Auto Match through it, no hiccups. Now I only have a box and a half to get rid of. The least favorite of my .22 stash. Shoots well enough, but dirty.

My first shooting since October. I was grateful that with all the gun and ammo hoarding, it wasn't busy. Two the nine stations stayed empty during my two hour stay. Was a relief to see after my 35 mile trip to get there.

AFAIK every public range in the state is closed for now...My Property is only 155' by 185,'  not big enough to shoot here, and I don't own an air gun.

Bearcatter, good to know the replacement is good to go.  Hope you'll get it broken in well and carry with confidence!  Haven't been to the range with mine recently but I've dry fired a lot (with snap caps) and I swear the action is smoothing out nicely. Good firearms.

The newer Guardian  functioned as well for 50 rounds as my older one, which has 300 through it. So, I consider it done and am confident to carry. I had such a long wait for the replacement, I think they treated it with a little extra attention before it left Provo.
