So I just heard back from Viridian and it appears that they don't have any plans to release a laser for the NAA .22 LR. I was also able to find one of the Laserlyte Grips and it's just impossible to sights correctly. Other than gluing a laser to the Mini does anyone have any ideas of how to mount a laser into the mini?

You may be able to sight the Laserlyte in. It's a weird system. Imagine the actual laser is mounted on a seesaw that also rotates left and right. On the other end are two set screws that push against a spring so that the screw maintains contact with the seesaw. After fooling around with a number of laserlyte units I have come to think that they don't put springs on the opposite sides of the screws. It acts more like memory foam. When you lower the screw the foam compresses. When you raise the screw it can take hours for the foam to expand into the extra space.

I found that I could raise the screw until it felt a bit loose, then put it away for a day and repeat. I have four laserlyte units and they all act this way. It generally takes me about 3 days to get it sighted in. After that, small adjustments are simple with no waiting.

Let me know if you find the same thing.

Ah, thanks for the tip. I'd found that the laser actually moved when firing, hejce it becomes useless after firing a few shots. Do you find this to be the case with yours as well or is mjne a bit loose? I only have 1 so I don't really have anything to compare it to.

Ditto, it moves.
Can't see it in daylight.
Hits cylinder when taking out.
Strike three he's outta there!

You can drive a cat crazy though.

Now laser projecting bullets, there's
an idea.

The Taurus and S&W side mount units seem to hold their position. I didn't shoot the NAA unit much because I hated the grips. To me a better grip is worth more than a laser any day.

The consensus of this group seems to be that the NAA models don't hold their settings. I wonder if that has anything to do with not waiting until it settles out. Maybe someone can provide more details.
