Bright and shiny reminds me of a pimps gun or a greenhorn cowboy dude . Flashy is a give away of location .

Polished guns look fine and I like them. Carry guns don't need to be bright a flashy, they need to be discrete and functional. I only have three handguns and all of them are less than polished. Two get carried one is the house mouse.
