I would like to see about purchasing a buckle for my NAA Pug. Does anyone know it any of the buckles that they sale will work with the Pug?

grayelky

To my knowledge, no. I do have a buckle and 1 1/8" mini in the shop.

Howdy!

Thanks for the reply. I call NAA today and they said NO buckle for the Pug.

I'm not aware of one either. A quick eBay search might turn something up. You never know.

Would probably have to be a one off custom job due to the way the cylinder pin is shaped.
Would probably be prohibitively expensive.

All would be well and all would be well and all manner of things would be well.

I would tend to agree

Rick is such a genius, maybe he could figure out a "holster buckle"? I know someone likely makes a blank metal plate buckle like the rodeo type, so you can add your own facing to it.

Gifted my old Spanish Fork Mini to my son several years ago. Just gave him a new buckle in May. Am surprised it fit as well as it did.

I remember seeing a buckle that held a mini by a leaf spring. The buckle had a square opening that part of the cylinder passed through. The leaf spring was passed through an empty chamber, behind the buckle. One end of the spring had The end bent 90 degrees, creating an edge that could be used to slide the spring away from the cylinder, allowing the mini to be pulled from the buckle. The biggest drawback with this arrangement was upon cocking the hammer, it placed the empty chamber to be "fired" next. I hope this is understandable. I feel it is clear as mud. Ask questions, and I will try to answer with more clarity.
