Mini confiscated at airport

The TSA at our local airport just "busted" a traveler with a firearm in his carry on. Looky, looky at what they found!

This is how they described it in our local paper-

" The .22-caliber revolver was a pocket gun with a small "bird's head" grip and no trigger guard."

I'll bet the owner now wishes they had packed it properly. Did they bring charges against them or just confiscate the mini?

The one in that pic appears loaded. That might make a difference...

The newspaper says it was indeed loaded. No charges yet but I'm sure they'll be coming.

usually if Tsa believes your story that you forgot it was in the bag, they just fine you heavily $4,000 and up. local criminal charges may be filed depending on what locale this occurred in

After it's all settled I wonder if it'll go home with a TSA Supervisor or get turned in for melting down?

Mini shows up in some strange places. Not just bags. Being so small and streamlined she just slips in. You want to buy a used Mini? Was it cleaned before you got it?
