oh, ok, it looked like some exotic animal, so I was like what is that. Thanks for your clarification.

naabug

sandy,s soapbox for june is out.

shay

I wonder how easy it would be to disassemble at the hinge. One could plate the rear of the frame in brass and duracoat the rest black. SICK!!!!

lauraslookout

why is madhat's comment not here?

airplinker

Its listed in the secondary thread at the top under new guardian owner. I dont know why the threads can be combined like this .

littlechili

Yep that's a real nice little gun and looks like in will fit perfect in my purse.

engineer88

Regarding extraction, most higher end SD ammo is nickel plated for this reason and should make that smooth.

warty

I want just one of the top breaks, that is likely all I can afford.

Would be super cool to have a pair of consecutive serial numbered top breaks but...

silvershooter

Can anyone photoshop the break-top with the rubber black widow grip on it? I'm just curious, I like the larger grip.

cookieruffruff

chopprs, will you please photo shop  a break top earl  if possible    thanks    ruffruff

grayelky

Put me down for a break top, preferably with the same matching serial numbers as my 3" and 4" Earls. And a LR cylinder.

cedarview kid

I'm not sure you could swap out a magnum breaktop cylinder for long rifle cylinder. It's not going to be a normal cylinder and I haven't heard that a conversion cylinder will be available. That'd be cool, tho.

grayelky

So far, the LR cylinder has not been nixed, but the matching serial numbers (for The Earl) are not in the plan.

Sandy...

I check the forum and the NAA site daily in hopes of more info on the Break-Top Magnum as I am already sold on it.  I have 8 more NAAs' and will need the Topper or it's conversion when on the market.  Wherever the list, please put me on it or just know I'm highly interested.  Thanks..

Sandy

I apologize for the anxiety some of you may be suffering.  The breaktop Early Bird announcement will be made in Sandy's Soapbox, probably in Sept.  Due to the ordinary, unexpected but anticipated delays, I believe we will make deliveries in early that month.  I can assure those who follow SS or our Message Board that you will not be left behind.  I appreciate all the enthusiasm many of you have shown.

cedarview kid

We'll certainly be patient for something that's really going to be worth the wait. :-) I just hope you guys make a left-handed version so I can justify buying two. ;)

theysayimnotme

Still waiting for any word on a special run of longer barrels for those of us in the People's Demokratik Republik of Kalifornia or Canada.

mayvik

Looking forward to these!  Found some chatter on the web and had to come over and register here just to keep up with the info.

chas1

mayvik, welcome to the site, now sit back and enjoy the ride, all you need is just one to start off with then your hooked the addiction is strong and quick so drink the kool-aid and watch what happens.

mayvik

haha..thanks.  I am a little worried that addictive personality and minis is not going to go well for me, but we'll see!

grayelky

mayvik- Welcome!

   Come on, just try o n e.........

You guys are like pushers.

Wait, isn't the first one supposed to be free to get me hooked? ;)

lauraslookout

Okay Sandy, it's time to get firm with the price. I know you know what the cost will be or you would not be ready to enter production. Jim

Sandy

Jim (et al) - No, we do not know the price; we have yet to receive the subcontracted components from our vendors.  We do know the price of those pieces, but have not yet been given quotes for production quantities.  Nor do we know our costs for assembly, finishing, testing, etc. as we have not yet begun to do that.  No, we are not ready to enter production and have explicitly stated that we have not made a commitment to do so beyond providing this prototype batch for sale.  No, we don't expect to make any CA legal pieces in this run.

Uncle_Lee

Hey Sandy,

When you get to the trial part, just send me a couple and I will test them for free. I will even furnish all the ammo.

Hang out here and watch for news, SRQ. :-)

top break very cool, NAA got me again, first the Earl and now the top break  I'm in.

   Steve

45flint

Love the look of the top break. Some have suggested it be based on the Earl but to me if you just add the long grips you have it.  There is no charateristic of the Earl that would add any more? The Schofields didn't have octaganal barrels. Am I missing something?

45flint

One of you photoshop guys should take the picture of the prototype and put the long grip on it.  That should be one of the options for the first 500.

tank78z

Just wondering if there is any possibility of a pre-order sign up sheet for the top break? the reason I ask is I will be away for most of Sept. ( in europe) and will have limited or no time for internet access.. thanks, Bob

warty

if there is, you'll know here when there is...

Sorry but this is how things are done.

Maybe you might get more with a call to NAA?

grayelky

I tried to get put on a list for the break tops. In the first part of July, there was no list to get put on. I was told (via email) there would not be one, as it would not be needed. Of course, things can change when it gets closer to production of the guns.

Uncle_Lee

I sent an e-mail in May to see about buying two when they become available  with consecutive serial numbers and sending my dealer's FFL with a money order to cover costs.

I got no reply except an automated one stating he was out of the office until June 7.
