Leather Holster for a Byrna HD Pepper Launcher. A "First" request for DGL

This is a Hand Gun (technically a "Launcher")  that shoots Pepper Balls

There are no Dummy Guns available for it so the customer had to mail it to us to work from, no mailing issues, and no FFL needed

It's  Byrna HD. I found a bunch of YouTube videos about it. I would not want to be hit with one! Ouch! 

One of our regular Pancake Holster's in Black is what the client wanted and this is the finished piece

I have my own thoughts about carrying one of these, I'm curious about what others think ??

I like it. Want one.  BUT -- looks like a setup for a bad mix up. Have to think on this.  Cops think it's a gun and fire?  You grab the wrong one?

  This thing WILL get you killed without a doubt . What a waste of good leather and it has NO designated orange barrel cap or cover , OH YEAH YOUR DEAD in most cases . Can't think of a time in law enforcement you wouldn't be shot , please no way carry this junk .

If you're gonna carry something as big as a Glock and looks like a Glock, then carry a Glock. If you live somewhere that restricts that option, then MOVE.

Make sure you also have a Taser
on you. So you can tase yourself
so you won't be a threat, when you
have police interaction.

   Great advice Wumbey , HA.HA.HA.HA .HA . Heck they just might shoot anyhow for being such a dummy lying there , put you out of your misery .  A lawsuit in the making with this piece .

JMHO...
If you live where you cannot carry a gun... this will have the same effect as someone seeing you in the grocery store trying to be a good citizen and will call cops which leads to LEO finding you and depending on circumstances they may approach with their guns drawn which increases your chances of getting shot while carrying pepper. That would be an embarrassing obituary!

That's a good move. With my luck, I would probably accidentally discharge a pepperball in my face and tase myself at the same time!

Thank you Uncle_Lee!  I wouldn't want one but, the client has a nice Holster for it! (and it does have that "new Holster smell")

There's a YouTube where 2 guys try to shoot each other with this thing and they can hardly make it work.  It kept malfunctioning.  Not reliable for self defense.

On the other hand, for about $100 you can get this Umarex 50 cal C02 revolver that shoots a variety of non-lethal projectiles

Funny you mention the Designated orange cap.  I was just thinking of doing a Orange Ceracoat on my Barrel Thread protector for my 10mm Glock G40.  No rules saying what color it has to be and if a hood rat see's the orange he will just ignore me so...

The Police shoot far to many kids over in Memphis who have taken the orange tape off their air soft or water pistols.
Of course anybody that points anything shaped like a gun a Police officer is asking for trouble.
Numerous court cases where Police had to defend themselves for shooting a kid that had electrical tape over the orange paint if they did not have tape to peel off.

I think the Glock will look good with a few orange accents.
