Nothing is simple

A few weeks ago, I was shooting my mini and decided I would replace the Black Widow that I sold a few years ago.

I won one on GB at a very good price.  It came with the adjustable sights.  As I have seen on various sites, I could not keep the rear sight in place. Would shoot loose after about 10 rounds. The good thing was that it was dead on all the way at the bottom of the ramp.  A little drift of the front sight and it shoots way better than it should.

Now what to do about the rear sight?  I took it to my local smith and he tapped it for a larger screw and countersunk it a little bit into the bottom plate.  Doesn't move even though essentially we made a fixed sight out of it.  Was hitting our 10 inch gong with it at 50 yards today without much trouble.  Love this setup.  1 issue fixed.

In the interim, I won a PUG on GB and today was the first day I took it to the range with some aftermarket wood grips on it.

Grips broke.  Made me sad and I'm going to get the BW style for it.

2nd problem.  Front sight needed a little tap to the left to zero the gun.  With the beveled edge, I managed to dork up the front sight to the point I won't be able to use it.  Not a huge fan of the XS sight picture but here are some questions.

1.  Can I get just a front sight from NAA?
2.  Replace the set with a 3 dot set fixed set up?  NAA sell the set?
3.  Other options?

Thanks in advance!!

Figured I'd give NAA a call this week.  I like the fixed 3 dot so I'll see if I can get a set.

Thanks guys!!
