Can I recommend that we all consider dropping this virus / mask / government argument?

We're going around in circles, beating a dead horse. Stepping on frayed nerves, causing fights we would have never started a few months back. Let's take a break.

Well, so much for that idea. I guess the horse isn't dead yet.....

If the vaccine works, then those who choose to get it are protected.
If the vaccine doesn't work, why get it?

And the people who may be your customer have the right to be a customer or not.

No deaths from the vaccine?

"UPDATE #2: As of 6:30 PM CT on July 21, 2021, the CDC's website stated through July 19, 2021, VAERS had received 6,207 reports of death (0.0018%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine. The CDC's webpage's Last Update date reflects July 21, 2021."

I will bet this number is lower than reality.

It is the number of deaths "among those who received a COVID-19 vaccine" it is not the number of deaths attributed to the vaccine. Oh and .0018 %, rounding up, is 2 deaths per hundred thousand.

Like you said, most vaccines have taken a decade or longer to develop and test for safety. Other vaccines have been pulled with as few as 25 deaths caused. I read reports that for this one it is 110,,, to 14,000 vaccine deaths.
And I just heard the physician member of the local tri-county health board interviewed. He stated that for September, in Vermont (our most-vaccinated state), 76% of the covid-diagnosed deaths were in the vaccinated! Doesn?t sound like it was protecting those folks as well as advertised.
I do not support companies that are anti-firearm (https://www.ccrkba.org/antigunbusinesses).
I will also not be supporting companies that do not support my right to protect myself against unproven or dangerous therapies.  Gotta think more about what to do here. I have been carrying a mini for over 35 years, but time moves on. Dunno....
Since the one you carry is already paid for, I would suggest you either continue to use it, or send it to me and I will deal with it. The part about what to do as to supporting North American Arms or no longer buying their products, well, that is an individual decision each of us has to make. Me? I continue to support everyone's right to choose, and will not bully them for their choice, even if it is different from mine.
Until they publicly condemn and ridicule my choice. It's a short step from condemning  a choice and dictating what someone can choose.  See all the places that mandate you get the vax or loose your job.  I got the vax as soon as i could, and support it ( though I'm beginning to have doubts)  BUT I support more your right to choose for your self.

"I'll take my chance with natural immunity, which is actually admitted to probably be permanent."

More misinformation. "Natural immunity" (from having had COVID) is not permanent. It has been determined to last between 6-7 months, and it may only be effective for the strain you got. From a guy who had COVID 2X before there was a vaccine. Read the information on the WHO if you do not trust our gov't. Or go to one of the European sites if you must. Every one in the world is not trying to deceive you. You guys need to grow up, not just old.

Exempt from vaccine mandates:

8,000,000 Chinese students living in the US
6,000 White House employees
2,500 Pfizer employees
1,500 Moderna employees
120,000 Johnson & Johnson employees
15,000 CDC employees
14,000 FDA employees

Seems like the more they know about the experimental mRNA technology - sorry, "the vaccines", the less they want it.  Yale did a study about the education level of the "vaccine hesitant".  The most "hesitant" were those with a PhD.

Yep more misinformation...

https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/presidential-actions/2021/09/09/executive-order-on-requiring-coronavirus-disease-2019-vaccination-for-federal-employees/

Since the CDC, White House, FDA are all Federal employees, I don't see how that is even possible, and Pfizer requires all US employees be vaccinated. Please stop the BS. On what grounds do you get these so called exemptions, since the religious exemption for Catholics was denied by the Pope? Most Christian denominations have followed his lead.

Clarification on my above post:
Asking for a link citing the Yale study on vaccine hesitant.

OK so all of you who didn't trust the vaccine; did you really want to wait 5 or 6 years, with the death rate of COVID being what it is and businesses failing right and left, for a fully tested and vetted vaccine?

No, you want others to take it so you won't have to...how selfish of you. Or maybe you are OK with 500,000 Americans dying for the years it takes. No, I am not that self serving.

I did say many post ago, take what we got now and develop better  (in the future)... and move on.

So, what will be the long term effects of the shot? Can anyone answer this question without using a questions as their response?

I am not ok with the government forcing me to take a shot with unknown side effects. The shot is permanent. You can not un-take the shot.

It is not selfish to allow volunteers to volunteer.

It is selfish to force me to take a shot with unknown side effects for your own interests, whatever they may be.

theysayimnotme

The long & short term effect of the shot is you (& others around you) are more likely to LIVE. Quit being such a baby!

Volunteers won't get the immunity needed. All Must be responsible. Grow up. The future deaths are on the unvaccinated. I hope God holds you accountable.
