Guardian extended mags w/edit

Anybody have the 10 round extended mags in either caliber?  Like 'em?  I'm wondering how the metal mag and black extension fit together, too.
I'm thinking about getting a couple, but not sure, or how to order. On the website, the extended 32 shows a large photo of one with the flat base. Below that, a small photo shows two mags, with both flat and pinky styles. The 380 shows just one photo with a flat base. On the order page there is no place to choose which base you want. I don't like a pinky base on the regular mag, but might be better on the extended.

EDIT: I found an old blog entry by linux_author that showed well enough how the extended mags fit together. Extension fits on regular mag body like a base plate. A push in plastic lock pin keeps it together. His came as a parts kit to convert regular mags. I assume they are sold as complete mags now ?
