poorly made, would not hold up.  Most have give up on it as junk.

I have one of LaserLyte's new style that clamps to the top of the frame.  It seems to be pretty well made, but it really increases the overall size of my nini.  Not sure if I'm going to keep it on or not.  Still trying to work out a good holster design for the Mag with the laser on top.

LaserLyte must be waiting on the same suppliers as NAA. The anounced release date of October has come and gone but I have yet to find one in stock for sale. The best advertized price I've found is $106, the highest $141. No reviews are out that I can find, so LaserLyte hasen't sent them out to gun writers yet. I want one for my BW and am looking forward to owning another quality product by LaserLyte.

ikoiko

I've been in contact with a rep at Laserlyte for a few months. They've been in the dark about a release date since the October one passed.

They have promised to contact me as soon as they know when the Venom will be available. I'll post whatever I find out, whenever I find it out.

1967

Thank you ! I thought it was a very cool design .

ikoiko

I just emailed them a couple of days ago, and was told they check on the venom every morning and assured me I'd know shortly after they knew. We'll see.

If the thing works, it would be really nice looking along with some Chong grips on the BW.

grayelky

I sent them an email. I will let you know their response in a couple of days.

thanks grayelky
im still interested in this product

i believe Louie is confusing this laser with the older frame mounted laser?
i have not heard the Venom reviewed negatively,,,,,since it's not yet been offered for sale....

The thing I hate about these lazerlites is the battery lifespan stinks . You would think in this day and age they can come up with longer lasting battery lifes maybe even just a rechargable one  (single battery too) . That new venom doesn't look too be on target very well and afterall it really isn't a very stable mounting platform by the looks of the video . That top mount one doesn't stay put either very well I've finally J B welded it on to stop the movement , now it stays on target great . Still looking for a green lighted one somewhere .
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

11-29-2012 the Firearm Blog had a new press release relative to the Laserlite Venom. Claim a 5 hour constant on and 10 hour pulse battery life. Last price I saw was $160.

OV-1D,
I put a small piece of duct tape on the frame of my .22 LR (vintage 1972) before I clamped the Laserlite on and it seems to keep the sight from moving.
God bless,
Fr. Richard

This is the email I received from Laserlyte today (Wednesday):

Hello Luther,

Thank you for your e-mail.

Unfortunately the NAA-VM is not available yet.  We do not have a release date for them, however please keep a watch on our website www.laserlyte.com.  When the "sold out" button changes to "buy now" they will be available for purchase.

I hope this helps.

I just had one in my hand.  We got a shipment of them in and I've added them to the website..... link is in the news section at the top of this page.

admin-
Since you seem to be the only one who has actually handled one, how does it turn on? What are your impressions? Shot with one yet?

Thanks.

Gray,
There is a small button to the rear of the large screw on the bottom of the laser for turning it on.
