Take a look at either a .22 LR or a magnum & it won't take you two seconds to see that there isn't enough room for the cartridge case to clear the frame. Maybe a semi-rimless .32 ACP. (The devil made me do that.)

Would a loading gate be practical without an ejector rod?

I thought Gun Broker had a way that you can type in something and get notified of it showing up? I haven't looked at them for a long while, usually just for fun.

Do a search and when the search is answered, there is a button at the top of the page that says "Save This Search".
