I?ve recently purchased a Sidewinder from our very own Uncle Lee.  After much deliberation, this is the one I wanted.  Sidewinder 2.5? with both cylinders.  I won?t get into my cost, but I will say, I figured I saved from $150 - $200.

UL said this gun has never been shot, just as new in the box.  It is being shipped today by Uncle Lee?s FFL.  I figure I?ll take delivery Monday.  With luck, Sat.  Bad luck, Tuesday.

Anyways, anyone interested in a NAA, Uncle Lee might just be the ticket for savings.

I will also say dealing with Uncle Lee, or any other individual seller (by mail) for that matter, delivery time is a little slower.  The buyer has to mail a money order, & this takes time.  But for the savings, this is very easy to understand and acceptable.  Purchasing from guns.com or Bud?s, & paying by CC, is a faster process.  Which is nice, if you have $150 - $200 to blow.  I don?t.  I can buy a really nice 3wt fly fishing combo for $175.00.

Anyways, I am very excited about owning another mini revolver.  My BW and SW will become fast friends.

For what it is worth, I have had several deals with Uncle lee over the years. I have found him to be true to his word. I trust him. (I guess that's the long way to say it will be just as he described it.)

I took delivery on a sidewinder today, purchased from Uncle Lee.   Couldn?t be happier .  It had never been shot , new in the box.

I cleaned and gave it a good lube job.  Caught on to all the mechanics of a sidewinder quickly.  Loaded it would 22S & walked down to my backyard range.   I was more than pleased with the accuracy of this little revolver.  10 shots from 5 yards, produced a 5 in x 3 in group.  If not for one shot to the left, wouldn?t been 3 in x3 in group.  Shooting shorts is sure fun.

Thanks Lee.

After posting pic, I see that the stray shot is showing bottom right.  I don?t know why my pics are always crooked.

Uncle Henry?

Did you get the shoebox with it?

Crooked pics, you need to practice your camera trigger pull ...  ;)

Uncle Lee.  I wrote Uncle Henry in error.

No shoebox.  Only the Original cardboard box & the original metal case.  Nice.

Just the excitement of a new gun!

I haven't bought one in two years. I haven't even bought anything related to guns for nearly a year. ... :(

That Uncle Henry guy makes nice knives!

Uncle Lee didn?t ask me too, & might not want me to, but I just gotta say it:

If you?re thinking of purchasing your first or another NAA Mini, I believe it would pay you, literally, to contact uncle Lee.  I have been wanting a Sidewinder, and I am thankful for uncle Lee.  He saved me at a minimum $150 or more, including shipping & FFL fees.

While this SW is not newly built, it?s just like new.  Lee purchased this SW 2015.  He stated to me he only took pics of the gun and held it in his hand.  No dry firing.  He never cleaned the gun, never shot the gun.  I believe everything he said was true.  In my opinion, I purchased a brand new mini.

Delivery does take around 4 days longer than buying from a retailer, like Buds and Guns.com.  Can?t pay by CC, has to be a USPS MO.  I was perfectly okay with this.

After delivery, as I do with all my new gun purchases, I sprayed the entire gun with Break Free CLP cleaner & lubricant.  Let it sit for an hour, then thoroughly wiped it down, inside and out.  Ive fired 30 rounds of 22lr and 22shorts, without a hiccup.  Smooth as silk.  Love shooting shorts out of this little gun.

Anyways, I know this is a long post, but just wanted to tell my story of dealing with one of our own, Uncle Lee.  Thank you.

Unc_Lee  gotta be one of the last few great true humanitarian left on this planet and by his dedication to this forum cannot be duplicated , NO DOUBT . He stands alone on his TREAD COUNT ,HA ,HA . Haven't bought anything from you Unc but I wish I did concerning any of those special order NAA's . Got burned real bad by another forum member when I was looking for a certain Buntline magnum revolver for my collection but caught me at a personal bad time , personally wasn't the best condition either in my eyes . Oh well live and learn but elephants never forget when it comes to Karma , he'll get his sooner or later ..  Wish I had some extra cash just to say I bought one of Unc_Lee's collection being I've ribbed him sometimes of it .
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

You are welcome Terry.
Thank You for the kind words.

Oh yes,,,,, NO PayPal.
I don't know what happened but the money didn't go back to my debit card as it usually does. I now have a PayPal wallet where my money is stored.
