Price increases?

Looking around the NAA site, I noticed that the Guardian 32 has gone up $21. When I bought my two, list was $409; now it's $430.
Standard and extended mags for it haven't increased. Looking at some of the parts prices, I don't think they have changed either. I don't know about other things; I don't know their "before" prices. It's apparently not an across the board increase. At least not yet.

I'm not complaining at all. Up until now, NAA's prices have not gone up for at least three years. How many other gun companies can say that?

None can say that lol even the "budget" companies prices have gone through the roof. No Taurus or Charter should be going for more than $300 and that's with tax and everything included. But now you're seeing mag pugs going for $450 f outta here with that.

Myself if wasn't for both size cylinders your right the price sort of puts them in the novelty category . NAA has no real competition in these minis , the more a company goes specific on a individual item (items) you can only expect the prices will be right up there .Even without both cylinders they are kind of pricey and here I am needing that 4 inch Ranger 2 with both cylinders , it probably will never be . Only an opinion mind ya . ;) ;) I'm glad I bought all my guns early in age , when the body was younger , because I sure wouldn't be able to amass any now . I feel everyone in the so-called middle class is feeling a big pinch with funds being somewhat tight . Hate to say it but we have not seen nothing yet , just be like a good scout and be prepared on all sides . Good and common sense is all . 8)
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

I'm going to say that part of the problem is that we are old, and remember the olden times with fondness.
Several years ago I was talking to a dealer about how I wished I had kept all the antique guns I had traded years ago.
He asked why did I wish that I still had them, and I replied because of what they were worth now.
His response was that they were not worth any more now than then, because in the 70's, a Remington Wingmaster cost a week's wages, and a Wingmaster today costs a week's wages, so no increase in value.   He also said that a hundred years ago, you could buy a Colt Single Action Army for a twenty dollar gold piece, and you can still buy a Colt SAA for a twenty dollar gold piece, not a twenty dollar bill, but a gold piece.

Boy did this drift fast!

I just thought it was unique that NAA has had the same prices for three, maybe four, years. Other companies have had increases at least 5-6 times in those years. Hopefully NAA sales have filled in the slack and all the employees have had good raises!

This has nothing to do with guns bought 30 or 130 years ago ... ??

My 1911 cost me $14.15 (plus $2,85 shipping) from the DCM. Now the CMP wants more than that just for shipping & it has to go through a FFL. That adds fees, taxes & Kaliforia charges not to mention the MUCH higher price.
The sales tax & fees on new guns are more than what I paid total for many of the guns I have. Remington 1100 skeet gun $125.00 + $5.00 sales tax e.g.
