I just picked this up from my FFL

Another "Jewel" that Uncle_Lee has trusted to me  :)

I have plenty of ammo for this Guardian! (.380acp)  This one will get a "Clean & Lube" then a trip to the Range soon.

Like all of Uncle_Lee's guns, it's in perfect condition and I'm thrilled and honored he trusted me with them!

You will be pleased with the .380 Rick. It is a really good small pistol. With some NAA Custom Shop work it is entirely different and better.

I look forward to a range report. With your expert evaluation, I can compare it to my 32s ...  8)

A range report will be fun, I'm no expert, I only "play one" in my shop! lol! (I question that sometimes)  ;)

I'll take my .32acp Guardian and the .380  I have to say, I don't "enjoy" shooting the .32  :o but I would be glad to have it if needed.

It's really "snappy" and no matter how I grip it the trigger guard hits the front of my trigger finger.  ?\_(ツ)_/?   The Seecamp .32 is worse, probably because it's even smaller.

Good to know. I'll shoot it for a bit and look up what mods are recommended by the Custom Shop. What did you have done that had the most/best results?

I don't know fella's just why would anyone buy a gun NAA's necked down 32 over a standard 380 (much better round and available ammo) . The gun size I believe is almost identical , just guessing I don't own either , but from pictures and conversations its a no brainer to go with the 380 . THIS IS ONLY AN OPINION ,DO NOT TAKE IT AS WHATEVER .  ;D ;D

I agree on the ?snappy? 32.
Between that and what I would call sharp
edges, it hurts.
Something is going on with my mag. release,
so it?s headed in soon. Hopefully they can smooth
all the edges while they have it. I am a little worried
cause I think I heard the custom shop is way behind.
Still they can keep it as long as necessary to smooth it.
What good is a gun you don?t enjoy.
Still I like it, so I will tuff it out,it ain?t leaving the stable.

Based on that, I'd say you're not going to like the .380 any better. JMHO ... I hope I'm wrong ! ...  ;)

I don't have much of a trigger guard problem, maybe because I have skinny fingers?

You don't say what is going on?
On both of my 32s, you have to push the mag release in at least 98%. They also felt a little 'gritty' at first, but that cleared up after a while.
I don't have any edges I considered sharp, but I did smooth the front corners of the slide to save holster wear. They were pretty sharp.

Push mag. release 100 percent, then dig mag.
out with fingernail. Same on four different mags.
It is going back.

Ouch. We would appreciate hearing the solution.

The gun frame size is the same (.380acp and .32naa.)  I went with both  ;D It will be a learning experience to reload for the .32naa and the .25naa

And I still have a couple other guns I can shoot! No worries OV... "I don't take it as whatever"  ;)

Rick I'm beginning to think you want a field office job for NAA's line of weapons . All you need to do is have a wall board with the guns and the corresponding holsters to go along with it . Prefect side job . Ha ,Ha . ;D ;D ;D
Oh again you will have to get with Unc_Lee for his flare for the backdrop materials he uses for showings . Ha ,Ha . Right Unc ?

You guys that reload I applaud you all . Myself I'd be more inclined to make other things with all that powder lying around . Fourth of July just wouldn't be the same anymore maybe even be behind those steal bars making more friends from other circles . It really sounds too costly for my pockets and not to be cost effective anyhow , nnnaaaaahhhhh .  I do have those dyes and stuff for my 45/120 that came with the gun . I forgot what other cartridge they said I could use to reengineer for my casings . With what I have already loaded I'm good to go , wouldn't want a days full of shooting that beast , I'd have to go see my chiropractor to put me back together , I do have it well padded but still the pain of it all later on .

Big Dot sights added (Best mod done. Having real sights totally changes the character of these small autos.) Front slide serrations but mostly cosmetic. Pearce mag base plates give much more to grip gun on as does the addition of a Hogue Rubber Beavertail Grip and Rubber decal grip tape. I would also swear the Custom Shop did some Action Work on the gun. After returning its trigger was slick and smooth as butter.

Thanks for the info, I'll start looking at some of those additions  :)

Having the NP3 done on the .32acp (and mags) helped it feel much smoother cycling and also very easy to clean  8)

The 32 NAA Guardian is the exact same gun as the 380. It uses 380 cases and magazines. The 25 NAA is the exact same as the 32 Guardian. It uses 32 ACP cases necked down to 25.

The 32 NAA launches a 60 grain bullet a little over 1200FPS, from a 2" barrel. I am unaware of a 380 ACP that can get close to that, even with the lighter bullets. While I have not shot my 32 NAQ yet, every 32 I have shot has less recoil, less snap than any 380, making 2nd and/or 3rd shots much easier and quicker. While on paper the 380 ACP is noticeably ahead of the 32 ACP, in real life shootings, investigated by law enforcement, they are much closer to being equal. I suspect the 32NAA will be equal to, or perhaps slightly le3ss than the standard defensive 380 ACP, which is pretty snappy. I am unaware of any shootings involving the 32 NAA, I would have readily put one in my wife's hand, and feel she was adequately protected anytime I was not around. In this Country, the 380 ACP out sells the 32 ACP by leaps and bounds. I suspect if more people shot the 32 a little, that would change.

It will be fun to eventually be able to shoot these side by side  ;)

I definitely agree with that. The "bigger is better" crowd just has a macho attitude that doesn't bother with plain facts. They think if a bullet is two hundredths of an inch bigger diameter, or 20 fps faster, or 5 grains heavier, it's automatically better. There is a lot more to it than that. The .380 is marginally better than the .32 in ballistics, but not in other aspects.

I did a lot of research on both the .32 ACP and the.380 ACP before I decided on the .32.
