Dehorning the trigger?

I just read another post where someone mentioned the trigger biting their finger when they shot their NAA. What would be wrong with removing that little hook on the back of the trigger? It appears to be purely cosmetic.

As I often say, "What could possibly go wrong?"

One of our mini experts could explain it better than I can, I just own Guardians.

OLD and GRUMPY

Never got bit by the trigger. Think I would work on how you grip it before grinding on it.Build good habits. With the mag frame (larger) everything works fine. With the LR frame sometimes the trigger lands in the joint of the finger instead of the middle pad and no matter how hard I pull it wont go off.Practice is helping with that.

Aside from messing with your warrantee I believe it wouldn't hurt a bit just trimming the sharp point off the backside . ::) ::)
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

Well, the warranty ship has already sailed. Dehorned the hammer as well as the trigger. (I dehorn the hammers on all my revolvers.) Then I saw some sharp edges on the frame and things started getting out of hand.

Age will eventually dehorn the best of us.
