New member, new Pug...new Black Widow

Greetings!

I've admired this forum for a long time and decided to finally jump in. I have a modest collection of firearms and high-end  knives. I've also been a fan of NAA for decades and used to own a couple minis but regrettably sold them off years ago for one reason or another.

Anyway, for the last month or two I've been bitten by the bug again and had been in search of a new Pug. After checking with my dealer for several weeks, one finally showed up and I immediately went down to buy it. As a matter of fact, I loved it so much, I went back the next weekend and picked up a new Black Widow to go with it. I see how this works, lol!

I shot them both yesterday and was surprised with the great results. I experienced some expected keyholing with the Pug, but not too bad. The Black Widow had zero keyholing and was a bit more accurate, at least for me. I used CCI 40 grain hollow points and TMJ's for both. I'm actually about to sit down and clean them both. The Black Widow came with a little copper fouling from the factory but nothing I can't handle.

I have a great appreciation for fine craftsmanship so it was easy for me to gravitate back to these little gems. I'm glad to finally be a member of this forum and look forward to sharing experiences and learning from all the great members here!

First welcome to the forum,great bunch of folks here.

Now,you are the first newbie (I think) that joined in by jumping in with both feet and getting two minis!!!!

That sounds great!!

Be sure to store them in a shoebox like Uncle Lee does.....................that way they multiply quicker!!!!!!!!!!!!

Obviously you have been bitten by the bug  and we will help you "get better" buy advising you on which mini (and how many) to get.

Welcome to the forum Gunznknives. Two great choices you made. I?d have to say the Pug is my favorite of all the minis with the Black Widow coming in a close second.

Welcome! I started with the BW then the 1 5/8" Wasp. I now have two non-NNAs in 22 mag also; a Henry Small Game Carbine and a Charter Arms 4" 'House Mouse".

  Again Al great looking wood on those weapons . Heck I think I like looking at everyones wood grips as much as looking at the guns  maybe more so because of the differences in shapes and colors ..    I forgot finishes .

Welcome to the Forum Gunsnknives! The Black Widow and Pug were my first two NAA's as well!

The more you handle them and shoot them the better they get 

It took a while to "acquire" a few more Mini's but I've managed to add some here and there 

I get a "kick" out of showing them to other people, letting them shoot them and watching them buy new ones!

(I know, it's an illness  )  hahahaha!

I did actually post a picture above, I believe a couple days ago but it seems to lag a day or so behind until the post gets approved. Hard to talk to people in real time. I hope that ends soon..
