Looking to pick up a Black Widow and will need a pocket holster. I've been using a Lost River kydex holster for the standard NAA 22WMR and really like it. However, it doesn't look as though they offer it for the Black Widow.

Any recommendations? I don't mind leather but want it thin and molded. Don't need the ammo pouch.

We can't help but recommend our resident leather wizard, Rick Jorgenson. He operates Desert Gun Leather, somewhat specializing in Minis. You'll find pics of his work scattered through the forum. You can pick leather and thread colors, method of carry, ammo pouch or not, whatever you want.

I'm sure before the day is over, Rick will post here with a sample BW pocket holster sans ammo pouch.

Thanks.
Holsters look good but didn't see an option to drop the ammo pouch. Will look closer or maybe it's something Rick does on request.

I found this in an older post. We have a member who loves black with pink stitching! Upper right is small pocket holster wth no pouch. Not sure which gun it is, but gives you some idea until Rick posts a better one.

The pink stitching I can live without.
Tan leather and white stitching is more my taste.
I like the design.

Rick... if you check in, let me know how to order. Still not seeing an option to eliminate the cartridge pocket.

Photo, upper right, pocket holster for small mini, no pouch.

I'm not wild about the pink myself.

These are two more that I believe Rick made for another forum member, Canoeal. (Photo courtesy of Canoeal)

It might be worth it to check with a local Leathersmith in your area if there is one. There you can have it custom made to your personal preferences and with a cost most likely equal to the big brands on the internet. I recently had a leather sheath made for an old knife to my specs right in my home town and the craftsman really appreciated the business.
BTW it was 5 star quality!
You may not need it but should have it.

Appreciate it. Ended up going with Desert Leather.
Rick was great to work with and turn around fast. Highly recommend.

Anyone who has not had the pleasure of working with Rick, you owe it to yourself to buy a holster from him. I just received a black belt slide from him for my new Kimber K6s. It was of the same quality I have come to expect. And, the revolver fits like he had my gun in hand when making the holster. Not that I am sold on his work, but this is either my 6th or 7th holster. Quite a few members will praise his holsters. If you carry a gun on a regular basis as I do, treat yourself to one of his gun belts. Mine is 4 1/2 or maybe 5 years old. I wear it with a holstered gun 5 days a week, and as my regular pants belt the other 2. It still looks 90% new. You will not regret buying one of his belts!
