All morning I'm getting that, or pages are slow to open or post. Sometimes a minute or more. How can it be busy, when no one is posting? Other websites are working fine, including the main NAA site.

I think the program needs some serious help.

Same issues now, five hours later. Took two tries to open this post, first attempt froze. I'll bet my reply takes a while to load.
EDIT: Yep, got the same error message. Second try loaded, but took over a minute. Are others having issues? Only four posts all day besides mine.

Hmm...on Va/NC line here, severe thunderstorm in progress...I seem to have been able to sign in...

Storms forecast here in VA too, so far just sprinkles most of day. The big ones usually hit right after sunset. Storms all day tomorrow.

I opened this to reply okay, just slow. Hopefully it will post well enough. Little black balls going in a circle on the tab, round and round...

Nope, got the error message. I'll try again......

Very slow today for me.  I also got the SMF error message by clicking on the "FORUM" link at NorthAmericanArms.com.

I would appreciate NAA having even the slightest guess as to what is causing the problems; both the long outage and the frequent smaller issues since. Not one word offered, like they don't have a clue. I assume they have at least one IT person.
I'm waiting for it to totally crash, which apparently could be any time. It's acting like someone is taking potshots at fixing the problem, that aren't working. Or, someone is hacking it in different ways, having their idea of fun.

Okay, my original post was about noon. I had been having problems since I first got on at 9 AM. It's midnight now. For the last hour the forum seems to be working well. No error message, no snail slow loading. Now, what helped it, and how long will it last?

Computer Bugs!   6 of them. 3 human 3 kids.Son in law is the computer guy. Gets this stuff broken for free in his shop fixes it and brings it home. 4 TVs, 4ish phones?, I pads, gaming set up for the kids (3 towers). I think the dog and hamster may be electronic too. They never turn any of it off! All of it depends on the pipe line.  We live at the end of the line. It's like taking a shower and the entire city flushes at the same time! No water.  Forum has a thin pipe some place?  We are all NAA junkies. Our  fix will come ;D.

I had issues the other day could not get on, did the clear cache and cooking thingy all fine again. But this problem has happened twice now in the last month and its never happened before in all the years I've been here, so yea something is not right :o :-\

 Just now had problems signing in ,tried multiple times to sign in but no . I backdoored going to NAA site and then signing in on the forum .It works that time but again a little slow to react .

It's done okay for me since 11 last night. ?
I didn't do anything but wait it out loading or refresh with the error message.

Today, the forum didn't like my VPN. Took some back and forth to get on the forum. It's never done that before.
Now the only issue is that I can't edit anything using the Edit button. I get a white strip across top of page that says "loading" forever.
I have to use Modify instead. It's doing that whether my VPN is on or off.

I have not been able to get on here for about three weeks, until today. I have been sending copies of the message that I kept getting still not working well or correctly but at least I could get on to do this today.  Here is the message that I have been getting.
(Incorrect key file for table './naaminis_smf/smf_sessions.MYI'; try to repair it)
I am not used to getting these type of messages, I used to be able to clear just about all the problems with my computer, but not anymore.  If anyone knows how to clear this please let me know.

I had the same thing. I cleared my history (or cashe) and it resolved the issue

FWIW, I haven't had any forum issues, which leads me to believe that some folks might be having device issues like overloaded caches, cookies, spam, etc.

I do, however, regularly (weekly) clean out all my device issues & run a few different cleaners ( CC Cleaner, Gary utilities, Spyware Blaster, etc)
Be careful if you follow the masses - Sometimes the M is silent

Every week I update everything and scan, although Norton does that on it's own too. I defragment every week. I clear my cache, and my cookies, if they are much over 100, every day. If you clear all the cookies, you have to re-sign in to everything. I've blocked third party cookies, which has greatly reduced how many cookies I get every day.

I clear all caches, cookies, etc, etc every 2 to 3 days. Yea, I have to sign into everything again - so what? That's what a password manager is for!

I also have a VERY locked down browser, I block all sorts of things - and then there's my firewall that actually blocks all facesuck sites and properties, as well as TWITter and similar. As a result, I have very few problems and pages load faster.

Everything works fine.
I have noticed, the forum looks screwy.
ie, some of the emoji choices have words describing
them instead of the face. And the controls above them
are out of sorts too. Still it all works, that I can tell.

I do the same. I also have my computer set to erase my browsing history when I close. So far I have had none of the issues with the forum, not even the odd question marks...
