Doing good

Well you know NAA is doing good when you search for accessories. I mean there's a ton of aftermarket items and options on Amazon, eBay and many other sites. I look forward to see what new firearms and new accessories will come in the future.
I think a two shot 22 WMR derringer would fit the pallet in a perfect way. Am I the only one here to remember Paladin?

You may not need it but should have it.

With the horse head on his holster, like the Knight chess piece.

Yep, I remember him.
Good show.
What we need is reruns to watch.
I loved all the 50's - 70's cowboy shows.
I have a bunch of old black and white cowboy movies recorded. Probably never watch them. Wifie don't care for them at all.

Just wish they had more inventory of handguns in the marketplace. There was a time that you couldn't go to a gun store and find a few in the display cases. Now they are some of the hardest to find items.

Not sure if demand has risen such that NAA can't crank them out fast enough or if NAA's production is still on the slow side. Not a major downer but would be nice to see them back fully in stock.

Also wouldn't mind seeing a few more third party resources for oversized grips. RevisionCV has scaled back their offerings and the only other game in town is Thing Miester. Shame Hogue never got into the game.

Years ago Hogue offered more than what they do now. Right after I got my Bearcats, I learned that Hogue had discontinued those grips. That was 9 years ago. I found old listings of Micarta in black or ivory, and some nice wood. I never found any to buy. Micarta would look good on minis.

If I wanted Micarta grips for a mini, I would fashion them myself from a block of readily available Micarta.

FWIW, I opted to make a set of grips from some hobby-polished Jade (stone) blanks I acquired. (did I mention that I prefer birds head grips fo my Mini's ? )

I would guess it's hard to hold the pieces while you're shaping them?

Not really - just dealing with a lot of stone dust, that requires a mask.

I've always wanted to know if there are statistics for how many ppl own and carry NAA's relative to other types.

NAA's may be the number one type, since they are the only mini revolvers. Any other type of handgun is made by many companies.
So far as guns in general, I'm sure minis are somewhere below compact nines and snub .38s on the list.

Actually the 22 WMR mag is really a great performer for it's size. Truth is not that far off from the .380 ACP in ballistics.
I had a .380 Colt Mustang back in the day and it lacked in comparison to my 4" barrel Ruger single Six with the mag cylinder.

You may not need it but should have it.

Are your ballistic numbers for 22 WMR from a 2 inch barrel? Most charts are going to give numbers for a 16 inch barrel, since WMR is primarily a rifle round. If there is a handgun chart, that's probably for a 4 or 6 inch barrel. Supposed guide is that if you cut the barrel in half, 50%, you lose 30% off the numbers.

Try these for size; avgs from the NAA tables. Does not include Gold Dots, Hornady or Punch...and https://www.luckygunner.com/labs/pocket-pistol-caliber-gel-test-results/?fbclid=IwAR1_z_cEvnVykdpz-B7vR_mE_uwb_xHPREYuTwh2eegxwDyBRmuNQ-dnWqs#22Mag

Whatever the numbers.... I don't see anyone volunteering to get shot with a 22WMR. Even if shot from a 2" barrel.
It may not drop someone like a 45ACP but it will slow them down just enough to give you a head start for the exit. Placed just right, it may knock someone to the ground.

Almost all of the time, the shooting of criminals is about "attitude adjustment" not killing them. Shoot them a few times and with decent shot placement they usually re-evaluate the ROI (Return On Investment) of their nefarious doings.  8)

Not one person that has made fun of my NAA's not being "effective" has taken me up on my offer of shooting them! lol!!  :)
