These are done by a guy on YouTube that goes by sootch00. He does pretty thorough and honest reviews, with good video and sound. Even a lot of old model guns like the Nagant, CZ-27, and Galesi 25. Keep in mind that the Pug review is 4 years old. I already posted his Zastava review.

Sorry I'm old fashioned and will take the reliability of single action over semi autos every day. That's speaking from experience.
I've never had a single action jam!
You may not need it but should have it.

He may be a little off on when the minis came on the market.
I think he said 78?
That is funny because I bought a pair of mini shorts in 76.

Anvil- Have you tried rocks? They are a time-proven design.

Me either.
BUT:
I have had a hammer spring break.
I have had a hand spring break.
I have had a (4 or 5) bolt springs break.

Guardians have a trigger drawbar spring that's known to break. Only bad spring in the gun, I wish it was a coil.

Revolvers are maybe a little more dependable, but they break and jam too.....

I have a cap & ball revolver that has a broken spring on the pawl that turns the cylinder. I sent in for a replacement from Dixie Gun Works & it is just a blob of metal I am supposed to make into the part with a file. At least the gun still works by turning the cylinder by hand.

Do you know who made it?
Pictures of any, any markings on it would be helpful.

I built it from a kit long ago. All markings are long gone.
