.380 Guardian Pancake Holster w/Thumb Break

Here is a "Pancake" style Holster order finished this week.

And, I finally got to use the .380 Guardian for photos that Uncle_Lee has entrusted to me to care for, fondle, clean & oil, etc. 

I've made quite a few Guardian Holsters. Some with a Thumb Break and some without. These are one of the few guns I recommend "secondary retention" of some kind (normally a Thumb Break.)

The Holsters made (for this style of gun) without additional retention do stay in the Holster but, I have more confidence when the secondary retention is added. The shape and weight of a gun plays a big part of how "friction retention" is going to work. If there is not much "gun" there for the leather to be molded to and the the gun is small and "heavy". The weight of the gun will multiply the ease of "exit" from the Holster when turned upside down. (It's the same with the Seecamp and the Bond Arms guns)

This Holster is "Russet" color Leather with "Natural" color Stitching. The client wanted all the Leather to be the same color so the front and back retention panels are Russet as well.

Now I need to make one (or 4) for my Guardians! lol!

A sample of beauty in leather.
I love the shape of it and the snap.
He wanted the same color of leather, that is what he gets.
I think it would be totally wonderful with a darker leather to accent the lighter. I have fallen in love with those holsters.

Looks great to us. Only thing we could add would be a sight channel for a Big Dot sighted Guardian .380 (only way to roll with one of these). Of course followed then by the usual, Black Leather with Purple Stitching addendum. 

PS: Must have some kind of sturdy clip in place of the belt loops. We do not do belt loops. IWB would be great too. (We are really being picky today. (LOL)

Just another perfect holster from Desert Gun Leather, ALMOST gets boring... NEVER!  Keep them coming.  I'm not a Guardian fan but if I were that one would work!

I do like the Seecamp for how small it is. It's not a "fun" gun to shoot but I've shot it enough to feel competent with it. (but that was 2 years ago and would like to put 15 or 20 rounds down range before adding it to EDC rotation again) 

Since they only cycle Hollow Point ammo, it's been taken out of EDC rotation until I pick up some additional ammo 

I have both Black Leather and Gray Thread just waiting to be made into a Holster for you!

It's not a "flavored" coffee, it's coffee beans that are roasted in small batches by small coffee houses around the US

The beans are purchased from small farms and co-op farms in coffee growing countries.

When the coffee is brewed there are "flavors" brought out from different bean variety's as well as how the Roaster decides to roast the beans to bring out the best flavor notes.

There is no comparing the "Small Batch" roasted coffee's and "off the shelf" national brands as far as taste.

The descriptions are pretty funny   

Aromatic and lively, this cup tastes like black tea with bright citrus and honey.
A classic example of a washed Ethiopian coffee: bright, floral, and packed with jammy sweetness.
Pairs well with a slice of kumquat cake drenched in a honey glaze.

lol!!  I didn't notice all that but it was a good tasting coffee!

It's not for everyone but the newly crowned Mrs. Jorgenson and I do enjoy the different coffee's and, it makes my day a little nicer!

It is real coffee. The flavors are out of bounds. Oh Yes!!
Wifie tries them with the enthusiasm and glee of a 6 year old girl with a new Easy Bake Oven. Love Her.

Don't forget the Kumquat cake is "drenched in a honey glaze" you wouldn't want to miss out on that part!
