First DGL pic I remember that shows one with some use.

Like your pic, I've noticed on some holsters I have two of, that with the thumb strap straight, one has a thousand tiny wrinkles, the other doesn't. They disappear when snapped....?..?

It depends on the leather.  After wet molding if I leave the dummy gun in and the snap in the "snapped" position when it opens you may get wrinkles when its "unsnapped"

If I let them dry unsnapped you won't get wrinkles on the outside but might on the inside.

See... it's totally scientific, with a 50/50 chance of wrinkles depending on the hide and/or my wet molding fitting techniques that day! lol!!

Thank you sir. I thought the wrinkly might be from less desirable leather, and that area might peel or flake.

People don't get wrinkles, they're "character lines"... :)

KEN AR

I use the Revision CV grips and love them.  Just a finger width longer and as thin as the originals without the bulk of the Black Widow rubber grips.

And they center in the middle of the palm and don't move much when you shoot it.

Got my grips in today.  Love love love um.  Huge compared to stock grips.  For me, perfect size and feel.
Fit?  Not a perfect fit.  I did some shimmy and now they fit perfect.

RogueTS1

They almost always need a little shimming to fit well. After that they fit great.

This morning, stepped out the back door and shot 2,cylinders, mixture 22lr and 22s.  Very satisfied with my choice of grips.  Fits my little NAA black leather hls perfectly.

Really, really like these grips on my mini LR.   A pleasure to shoot.  Like it so good, thinking of buying a sheriff.

Bearcatter,  you are right, I am blessed.  Love love love being country.   Funny though, never cared for country music, after 1955.   The greatest thing about living in the country, especially on a river, it glues a family together.   Grands and their friends all love coming to meme and papas.

Uncle Lee,
Seems to me that when the minis are in a shoe box..............they tend to "multiply"

Maybe I should go out and get some shoe boxes????

Does it make any difference if the shoe boxes are for blue collar (hiking shoes) or white collar (wing tips) ? ..... ::)

Wing Tips only work for the 22 shorts, the Hiking boots work for all of them.

Hahaha--haven't owned Wingtips for decades, but darned if a brace of NAA Shorts hasn't appeared on my top shelf. Not quite sure how that happened.

top dog

Tinhorn,
A brace of 22 shorts??  Does that make them a 44???

Reminds me of a couple of years ago when Joe was campaigning he got into an argument with a construction worker about the AR-14s  (they don't exist)

My friend called me up and said that he had two AR-7s,does that make it an AR-14??

What shoe box did you put that short in??  Does it make a difference on how often they multiply???

Anyway, glad to see that you collection has "multiplied"

I know by the references that they are shoes, but what are they?

Wow, that is a deluxe pair !  You might get triplets in that shoebox..... ::)

Thay don't have to be more than one color. I've got a cheap pair somewhere in the house that's all black.

Ha! Funny you should ask. I used to have nothing but .44s, and later started adding some .22s. The .22s are taking over, though. My grandparents' cattle brand was "44", with intertwined 4s. And I've been with my wife for 22 years. Heck, even my oddball .36 1858 Remington has a .22 Kirst cylinder. I guess I like nice balanced numbers.

Every so often a .31 Pocket Remington shows up--they're triggering my OCD. Very odd number. I've tried to compensate with .32 conversion cylinders.

There's no Carhartt tag on them!  ;)

But they are fancy enough to be from DGL  ;)
