I won't carry a laser device... unless it has stun, kill, and disintegrate settings.

Your links went the categories for grips, mine went to the item in question.

No biggie. His title said Black Widow, message said Mini Master. Thought I'd just give the full line instead of Combat Grip, since NAA doesn't call any grips by that name.

I replaced the factory grips for my Pug with the GMM-M. No regrets, it fits my hand much better and improved my target accuracy.
You may not need it but should have it.

I didn't like the hump at the back of the BW grip and I like wood, so I made my own

Gentlemen, look closer. The OP is looking for the original ?squared? grips, not the current rounded version. Heck, I?d like to have a set, just haven?t run across any.

I started to get into a shoe box because I think I have a set like that in some shoe box..

Man, I put a set of RevisionCV grips on the Black Widow I bought for the missus. Perfect! She loves the fit. I do, too. Tempted to put some on my Earls, but geez--that would be ugly. Need another BW for myself so I can use the RevisionCV grips. Yeah, that's it! I need my own BW.

Uncle_Lee

On the ones that I don't shoot, just look at, I put on what looks good.
On the ones that I carry, I put on the CV's.
I think that the CV grips helps me shoot and hit the target better.

Thats right! You Sir NEED your own Black Widow!! And dog gone it, your worth it!!

Now get out there and start searching for it!

If the local gun shop doesn't have one you can always search Gunbroker.com!

Ken,
Welcome to the forum. As you can see,ask the question and the folks here will jump in with good quality advise.

Do you just have the one mini?? If you do,stand by because they tend to multiply.  If you do have more than one, don't worry, there will be more soon.

Hope all goes well for your search for the grips.

Well, since you insisted, I did both. Got a nice one from a GB dealer, and the FFL also had a new one on the shelf. Fortunately I already had two extra CV grips--one for each of them. Also IWB holsters 'cuz I like to be prepared.

Here's the funny thing, though--I'd opined above about how ugly CVs would look on an Earl. Couldn't resist the temptation to see just HOW ugly, since I was swapping grips around anyway. Turns out that the frame sizes are different on the BWs and the Earls. The CV grips protruded into the frame's cylinder opening so that there wasn't room to install the cylinder. Maybe it's for the best.

Something doesn't sound right there tinhorn...

The frames are the same size (for grips) for the Black Widow and the Earl (all sizes of the Earl frame) The CV Grips will not fit a Sidewinder or a Ranger without some modification's to shorten the "blast shield" area of the CV Grips.

I have them on a 2 1/2" Sheriff, 3" Earl, 4" Earl, and the 6" Hog Leg. And on a few Black Widows.

Maybe post a photo or two so we can see what might be the hangup for you.

One of us here may have an answer... or, some really bad advice! lol!!  ;)

I had CV grips on the 1860's.

Oh, my skeptical friends....

Pics of the exact same grip on a new BW and my Earl. It would be easy enough to modify if I seriously wanted CVs on my Earls. But Revision doesn't offer the woodgrain anymore for NAA magnums, and 21st century black plastic doesn't cut it for revolvers with loading levers.

Man, that's a pretty display, Unk!

Rick_Jorgenson

Well I'll be "dipped"  :o

Now, I would consider calling NAA and asking... Why this frame is "short"?

I've never seen that before. I'd send these photos and ask even though your not going to put the grips on the Earl.

If they say "all is good" then I guess it's safe to shoot.  JMHO

I think that you got a good part of them.
How many 1860's do you need grips for????

Yes, I recognized most of them. You take good care of your nephews. And they all appear to be happy to be reunited.

Can you spare two pairs of wood CVs for the brace of 4" Earls and the Hoglegs? I can drop a thank you card in the mail at the end of the week.

ex-mousekateer

Better viewing angles are needed, but it looks like the grips are rotated forward on the Earl frame, pushing them out into the cylinder space.  I'm sure if you measured various sections of the two frames, they would be the same.

Well now, a wood CV doesn't look THAT bad on an Earl. I think the 3" will keep its plow handles, though.

tinhorn

But since this is a Black Widow thread....

Not sure it gets better than this. Revision CV grips and obsolete Laserlyte Venom sight on a BW. I'm really liking that Venom sight.

Uncle_Lee

Pretty, pretty, pretty!!!!!!!!

Quotereally liking that Venom sight

Never have been a fan of the BW's front end ...................... but with the Venom Laser attached it fills out the front end appropriately making it look great. Very Pug like which we like very much.
