Greetings,

First post here. Thanks for letting me in. Have a Guardian pistol. Actually 2. 380 & .32 acp. Anyone know the replacement interval for the recoil springs? Also, do you use a dry lube or some other type for lubrication on your pistol? Thanks in advance.

If the slide stops going forward, you need to replace your recoil spring. Otherwise, it probably doesn't need replacing.
Any quality gun oil is sufficient.

WELCOME chieft!  I just got off probation myself, so take heart, those verification letters don't last forever!   ;D

I'm afraid I don't have much knowledge of Guardians specifically, but I understand from others on the forum that NAA's customer service is second to none: https://northamericanarms.com/customer-service/.  I haven't had occasion to find out for myself, but I understand that they'll answer any questions you have and will quickly repair just about anything that goes wrong under warranty.
This sentense contains threee errors.

Well, I'm already a deplorable, might as well go for broke and be an election denier too...

Welcome to the asylum forum !

I have two .32 Guardians. I put oil on a cotton swab or patch and wipe the springs with it. Be sure to follow the instructions in the manual when re-installing them. The tapered end of the larger spring, marked red, should face forward.

The rest of the gun, I wipe the slide rails with oil, and use a needle tip oil bottle to put one drop on pivot points and surfaces that rub. One drop at each end of the firing pin. I'm an old phart, and use Hoppe's everything.

I've never heard of any replacement interval. I've had mine going on three years, and I'm sure their round count is only around 400 each. Most other pistols that even mention an interval, it's like 5K rounds.

It's great to have another Guardian fan in this sea of mini revolvers... :)

Warning, they'll be trying to talk you into a mini. They are great quality guns, but just don't fit a need for me. I've managed to resist, so far ! ... ::)
